COORDINATORS AND DRIVERS NEEDED
FOR BIKUR CHOLIM TRANSPORTATION
The Bikur Cholim Transportation Committee coordinates rides to and from
medical appointments. The coordinator
matches requesters with an available
driver. Each coordinator serves for two
weeks at a time. This is a great way for
somebody who doesn’t drive to help
the Transportation Committee. Of
course, more drivers are always wel-

Camp Maor Open House
Maor Performing Arts Summer Program for Girls will be holding an Open
House on Motzei Shabbat, February
7th at 8:30 PM at the Ross Home, 244
Benner Street in Highland Park. Maor
is a Shomer Shabbat 3 week intensive
performing arts program for girls ages
10-16. Dates are July 27th-August 16th
and it is located at Sarah Lawrence
College in Yonkers. Dance, Voice and
Acting taught by accomplished professionals and special guests. Daily

Jewish National Fund is an organization
that has planted more than 240 million
trees in Israel! They also build parks and
communities, conserve the water supply, and preserve the desert. Their goal
is to enhance the quality of life in Israel
and they have been doing so for over
100 years. I am specifically raising
money for the Blueprint Negev campaign which is working to revitalize the
Negev desert to make it a home for future generations. This area makes up
60% of Israel but is only home to 8% of
the population. JNF is building new
communities in the Negev and strengthening the existing communities for better living conditions. Please help support this awesome organization! Thank

The 2nd Annual Poland Pilgrimage

Bikur Cholim OWLS (Overnight
Women Labor Support): If you are an
expectant mother and don’t have coverage with a family member or a
friend to stay with your kids when it is
time to go to the hospital, Bikur
Cholim offers a complimentary service. Volunteers will come to stay
with your kids during the night.
Please note that this service is only
provided for maternity situations.
Please call at least 3 weeks before the
due date, if not sooner, to be able to
make the necessary arrangements.

The Women's AMEN Group meets
weekly on Sundays at 9:30 AM in a
downstairs classroom at Congrega-
tion Ohr Torah. The group meets in the
zechus of a refuah shelaimah for
Menachem Mordechai ben Ophira
and other Cholim in the community.
Raritan Valley Hadassah Book Club
*Chugei Ivrit: We run two Chugei Ivrit,
one for advanced-beginners and the
other for intermediate to advanced
Hebrew speakers. They both meet one
Sunday per month. The advanced beginner meets from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and is
followed by the intermediate level at
11:00 a.m. We chat in Hebrew and read a
short Hebrew story or article. We’d love
