NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS
•
DOGS NEED TO BE AT THE SHOW only at scheduled time of judging and may leave
immediately after unless required for further judging.
•
DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. The club and/or its Show Secretary will not be
responsible for, and are not obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their
agents of Breed or Class judging. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class.
Owners or their agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging
ring.
•
This Club and Secretary assume no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information
given on the entry blank by the owner or agent of the owner. This Club and Secretary
assume no responsibility for the owner or owner's agent entering a dog in a class in which
the dog is not eligible to compete, nor for entering the same dog twice.
The points towards a Championship shall be awarded to the Winners Dog and Bitch of each breed or
variety based on the on the actual number of dogs or bitches competing in that breed or variety.
If the dog designated Winners Dog or Winners Bitch is also awarded Best of Breed or Variety, the dogs
of both sexes that have been entered for Best of Breed or Variety competition and that have been defeated
in such competition, shall be counted in addition to the dogs that competed in the regular classes for its sex
in calculating championship points.
If the dog designated Winners Dog or Winners Bitch is also awarded Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed
or Variety, the dogs of its own sex that have been entered for Best of Breed or Variety competition that have
been defeated in competition for Best of Opposite Sex, shall be counted in addition to the dogs that
competed in the regular classes for its sex in calculating championship points.
After points have been computed for Winners Dog and Winners Bitch subject to the above two stipulations,
the dog awarded the Best of Winners shall be credited with the number of points calculated for Winners Dog
or Winners Bitch, whichever is greater.
In counting the number of eligible dogs in competition, a dog that is disqualified, or that is dismissed,
excused or ordered from the ring by the judge, or from which all awards are withheld shall not be included.
Any dog which shall have won fifteen points shall become a Champion of Record, if six or more of said points
shall have been won at two shows with a rating of three or more championship points each and under two
different judges, and some one or more of the balance of said points shall have been won under some other
judge or judges than the two judges referred to above.
ROTTWEILERS
•
Effective for all shows held on or after July 1, 1991, dogs may be moved FROM ONE
DIVISION OF THE PUPPY CLASS TO ANOTHER or a CORRECTION TO THE SEX OF
A DOG may be made, or a dog, which according to their owners' records have completed
the requirements for a championship after the closing of entries for the show but whose
championships are unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to
Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is made by the Show Secretary
one half hour prior to the start of any regular conformation judging at the show.
(American Kennel Club Rules, Chapter 14, Section 6.)

THE SHOW-GIVING CLUB, THE SHOW SECRETARY, their agents or employees assume no
responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, spectators,
or to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to any
child not under the control of their parents or guardians.
•
ENTRY FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED in event of errors or cancellation of entries after
the published closing date, nor in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, in
season, excused by the veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by the show
committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances, fire, Act of God, act of a public enemy,
strikes, or any other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open
or complete the show, no refund of entry fee(s) will be made.

Please Note: Exhibitors wishing to transfer their dogs from a regular class to Best of Breed Class (Ch 14, Sec
6) must notify the Show Secretary prior to one half-hour before the start of any conformation judging at this
show.
Notice: An agent is a person 18 years or older, other than the owner or co-owner designated by the owner
or co-owner of an exhibit to be handler of, and responsible for, the dog at the show. Agents’ names may
be followed by the initials, which represent their AKC recognized professional group affiliation or certification.
Persons seeking the services of such an agent should familiarize themselves with the requirements for
professional group membership or certifications, which are available at the
superintendent’s office.

CHALLENGE TROPHY
The friends of Arwen, Loren & Mary Chiever offer the Arwen-Chiever Memorial Challenge Trophy in honor
of a beautiful female Rottweiler that touched so many hearts both inside and outside the show ring. The
trophy is to be given to the female that wins either Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex and is offered at
the Specialty for the Most Beautiful Female In Show. For permanent possession, this trophy must be won
three times by the same owner(s), not necessarily with the same dog and not at consecutive shows. This
trophy will remain in the custody of the donors until retired. The winner will receive a plaque.
BEST OF BREED PERPETUAL TROPHY
The Chancellor Perpetual Trophy (a bronze sitting Rottweiler & puppy “Hero Worship” on a marble and
walnut base) is offered for Best of Breed by Wendi Lewellen & Jamie Tingle.
Dedicated to our “Soldiers” & Armed Forces In Honor of our Foundation and “Forever” companions &
“Shatze” Multi BIS Am. Can. Ch. Iron Chancellor v Bergenhof CDX. For permanent possession, this trophy
must be won three times by the same owner(s), not necessarily with the same dog, and not at consecutive
shows. This trophy will remain in the custody of the donors until retired. The winner will receive a plaque.

TROPHIES
NON - REGULAR CLASSES - involving multiple dog entries

Stud Dog Class: For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. The award will be based on the merits of the
Get. The owner of the Stud Dog need not be the owner of the Get. The Stud Dog may be entered
separately in one of the regular classes, or if a Champion of Record, in the Best of Breed Competition,
but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog Class. The Get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes.
The Stud Dog MUST appear in the ring with his Get.

Brood Bitch Class: Same as Stud Dog Class. Substitute “Brood Bitch” for “Stud Dog” and “Produce”
for “Get”.
g
Brace Class: Two dogs of the same breed with identical ownership regardless of sex.
As the judge’s decision in the Stud Dog, Brood Bitch and Brace Classes is based on the merits of more
than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged First Place in these
classes will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won this class.

Parade of Champions and Title Holders: Dogs entered in this class may or may not be entered in
a regular class, however, must be holders of an American or Foreign Champion of Record Title,
Obedience Title, Agility Title, Tracking Title, Herding Title or Foreign working or conformation title. The
class will not be judged. Please send a brief printed or typewritten resume of the dog along with your
entry (will be condensed, as necessary). Must be pre-entered.
Each entrant will receive a Rosette with the dog’s name and titles imprinted on it.
