W
e all know how effective
the good old Cat’s
Whisker can be, but
at times it can also fail to get a
response. This little variation will
be sure to attract some attention.
Try fishing the fly on its own with
a floating line and a long leader,
with long, slow pulls to get the
wing pulsating enticingly.

Place the bead on the hook and
trap the hook in the vice, run on
