ymbols of good fortune can be used very effectively to
enhance feng shui. The function of symbols is to bring
good luck to households and express good wishes
to friends during festive and other happy occasions.
Symbols thus play a big role in the giving of gifts.
Chinese symbolism is founded on legendary matter
that goes as far back in time as the I Ching. Like feng
shui, symbolism has undergone many variations of
form, content and interpretation. To make good use
of these symbols as a supplement to feng shui, the
principles of yin and yang and the five elements must
at all times be taken account of.
Good fortune symbols should be correctly placed in the
home or office for them to fulfill the great promise of their
meanings. It is necessary to understand the derivations and
basis for them being regarded as good fortune symbols. It is
also necessary to understand their yin or yang aspects, and

Shui Symbols to Place
To guard against office politics
The image of a Rooster is the symbol which the Chinese use
to guard against office politics, of you becoming a victim
of politicking. The Rooster has that power to overcome
it. The beak of the Rooster is very powerful. The Rooster
is also a bird, so it signifies bird energy. It gets rid of all the
bad feelings, anger, fighting, misunderstandings, quarrels
and so forth.
To maintain a stable and happy marriage
Having a Rooster figurine in the home also guards against
infidelity. Those of you who may be having problems with a
spouse with a straying eye can seek the help of the Rooster.
When placed with amethyst nearby, the Rooster becomes one of the best
remedies against infidelity in a marriage. You can also wear one as a pendant
or as symbolic jewellery.

To activate for wealth and income luck
The sailing ship is one of the best symbols of wealth. Note
however that the ship you choose to use should not
be a warship. Do not have a ship with cannons.
Use a sailing ship that has sails, so the winds and the
waters brings this sailing ship towards you. Place your
sailing ship near your entrance sailing inwards. For
good measure, fill it with real money, nine types of strong
currencies, ingots, gemstones, gold bars and other symbols of money and wealth.
Even better if you can place the ship sailing in from a direction that is good for you.
You can have many sailing ships coming from many different directions, eventually
creating a whole harbor of ships. Sailing ships are useful for those of you who are
looking to increase your income, number of income sources and your net worth.
To find yourself a soulmate
Mandarin ducks will help you find a soulmate. It will also improve
your relationship and marriage luck. If you have Mandarin Ducks or any kind of
love birds, they should be placed as a pair in the Southwest of your home. Another
wonderful love symbol is the double happiness sign, which literally means “happiness
doubled”. This is actually the Chinese word for “happiness” but it is doubled. Happiness
occasions are known as “hei see”. Hei see means happiness occasions.
There are 3 kinds of happiness occasions: A wedding is a happiness
occasion. A birth of children are happiness occasions and celebrating
the birthdays of the older folks. That means somebody having turned
60, you celebrate the 60th birthday. When you have happiness
occasions, it generates the most powerful amount of yang energy.
When you have a double happiness sign in the house, it creates
double happiness occasions.
If you are not married, display the double happiness
symbol so that it helps you to find yourself a good
wife or a good husband. Alternatively you can also
display the ultimate love symbol, which is the Dragon
with Phoenix. When you have the Dragon and the
Phoenix together, it always symbolizes the union of
opportunity with bravery, and opportunity with courage.
The phoenix signifies opportunity. The Dragon signifies courage
and bravado. It attracts wonderful love vibes. It also attracts very
good family harmony energy to your house.

are blue in colour, will ensure you do not have people with
bad intentions or burglars coming to steal from you.
Symbolic Metal Cures
Three metallic things that you must have in your home is the five element
pagoda, the six-rod windchime and the five element bell. The five element
pagoda is like a magic symbol. It completely controls the affliction of the
five yellow in the home. Do not put it on the floor. Put it on a sideboard. It
must be made of metal or brass, as metallic energy is really very powerful
in suppressing bad luck energy. The six-rod metal windchime kills off illness
vibes and should be placed to counter the number 2 illness star. The five

is the direction of the Indirect Spirit in the period of 8.
Three Dimensions in Feng Shui
Feng Shui has three dimensions - tien, ti, ren - which means heaven, earth and
mankind. The first dimension has to do with Feng Shui, or Earth energy. This involves
landscape feng shui, the form school feng shui. It also involves the formulas. This
is also known as the space dimension of feng shui.
The second one is the time dimension. This is related to Heaven energy because
energy changes from moment to moment, from month to month, and from year
to year. This relates to how you should update your Feng Shui. This is the time
dimension of Feng Shui.
Lastly, there is a third dimension which is the spiritual dimension. This is to invoke
