How To
Your Office (Part Two)
T
he first thing you need to do is always look at the entrance
into the office, and into the workspace itself. And the
second thing is to ensure that the workspace, in terms of
the overall building, is located in a sector that is not harming
you.
The most important thing is the entrance into the
office space. It should face a direction that is good for
you. So if you are a West group person, it should face a
West Group direction. If you are an East
Group person, you should face an East
group direction. The facing direction of the
entrance is very important because you
are walking in and out the entrance
every day.
A solid door is better than a glass door.
Also, when you enter the office, if there is a
small little foyer area, this would be very good, as
this becomes your Bright Hall.

The choice of colours and colour combination affects the
feng shui of a company because all its correspondence
and publicity materials will display these colours.
The following are examples of lucky combinations of colours:
1. Black and White
This is an auspicious combination because
it reflects the yin and yang balance and
also signifies good harmony between the
elements. Black represents Water. White
represents Metal. Metal produces Water
and Water stands for wealth. So, a black
and white combination is good.
2. Silver and Deep Purple
This signifies the balance of yin and yang. It is also
produce the words “ngan chee” which means money.
It is so auspicious that it has transformed into purple.
Purple is also the colour of the number 9. And number 9
is completion. It signifies completion. It signifies more and
never ending. Nine is the ultimate number and 9 multiplied
by any number eventually adds up to 9. So, 9 x 9 is 81. 8 +
1 is 9. So, if you use silver with deep purple, there is hidden
good fortune generated by the number 9.
3. Red and Gold
Red is the ultimate good luck colour and pairing it with gold
doubles the significance of “wealth creation”. Red is very
yang colour. It has the power to suppress office politics and
gossiping. It has the power to create harmony. It kills off
hostility vibes created by people fighting and quarreling;
it also controls and minimizes misunderstandings. Red
conquers the gold – Fire conquers Metal. So this creates
the energy that brings growth and wealth creation to the
office.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE’S OFFICE FENG SHUI
IS VITALLY IMPORTANT FOR THE WHOLE COMPANY
The place of the CEO or Managing Director is very important. When the CEO
enjoys good feng shui, the whole company benefits. The following are guidelines
for ensuring good feng shui for the Chief Executive:
• The CEO’s office should be situated deep inside the building
• It should be innermost corner diagonal to the entrance door.
• The location should ideally correspond to one of the CEO’s lucky direction
based on the Kua number. For business, best is the Sheng Chi direction.
• The CEO should never sit with his or her back to the door or window. This
brings danger of backstabbers and other dishonourable people. Always
sit facing the entrance.
• Do not sit directly under an exposed overhead beam. Move the desk to
another position if this is the case.
• Do not sit with the sharp edge of any pillar or corner hitting you. Place a
plant to block and camouflage such corners.
• Do not sit against a wall that has a lavatory on the other side.
• Do not allow the front part of your desk to become cluttered with files or
paperwork.
• You shouldn’t be sitting in a space where above you there’s a toilet. You
should also not sit with your back to a big window – this symbolizes lack of
support.
• A picture of a solid mountain behind where the CEO sits creates fabulous
support luck for him or her. The best is a picture of a mountain of gold.
• Opt for as big a desk as you can get. Large desks attract large opportunities
and important responsibilities.
• The CEO should try and sit facing his or her sheng chi direction while
working. A plant should be placed at the sheng chi direction to activate
the energy.
• A water feature placed nearby will bring good wealth luck. The best is a 6
tier waterfall. The number 6 is the number of heaven. This will attract good
fortune luck to the company.
• Use symbolism. The language of symbols is incredibly powerful. The CEO
should have some good luck symbols beside him or her such as a sailing ship
filled with golden ingots. If the ship appears to be sailing in from the sheng
chi direction, it will bring even greater success and increased income.
