The adolescent years are characteristically
a period of intense emotions, new experiences
and experimentation. One out of ten react to
internal and external pressures by turning to
drugs and alcohol. It is time for professional
help.
The Intensive Outpatient Program serves
the needs of youth ages 12 to 17 with mental
health issues and substance abuse disorders.
This program is operated under the medical
direction of Dr. Nilesh Patel.
A variety of emotional and behavioral
problems are treated by the Intensive
Outpatient Program. Among the most
commonly treated disorders are depression,
conduct disorder, anxiety, behavior and
attitudes, hyperactivity and the recovery stages
of an addictive disorder. The program also
assists with impulse control problems students
experience in a public school environment.
Family participation is a very important part
of therapy and treatment.
Hours of Operation
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm or by appointment.

A Complete Treatment Program
An individualized master treatment plan is
prepared for each patient under the direction
of a psychiatrist. Fully qualified professionals, including master level therapists and
counselors deliver therapies. A highly experienced staff shares its knowledge with patients
in an atmosphere of respect and mutual cooperation.
The Goal:
A Return to Normal Living
The Intensive Outpatient Program is designed
to help patients rehabilitate. The goal is to
teach the skills and develop the attitudes
which will assist the patients to return to
regular functioning with their families and at
school. Every effort is made to ensure a
smooth transition back into home and school
life by providing individual, group, and
family therapies in a comfortable relaxed
setting. A meeting with the public school
principal or counselor can help provide the
returning student with much needed support
services.
A free consultation will be held with a parent
and a mental health professional on request.
The young person being considered for
treatment is also invited to attend.
To schedule an appointment or free
consultation call us at 713 790 0949 and ask
for intake department or admissions.
