restaurants, galleries and shops featuring fine art and craftwork,

Visitor’s Guide
Welcome to Lunenburg’s historic and
picturesque waterfront.
This working waterfront is home to tall ships,
schooners, dories, fishing vessels and floating
docks. Our docks provide free daytime berthing
as available. We also offer overnight and longterm berthing options. We hope you enjoy this
port of call.
Dine on a patio, uncover seaside treasures and
watch local boat builders at work, all along the
beautiful Lunenburg waterfront. Catch the sunset
with the best view dockside.
Stroll the streets lined with charming 18th and 19th
century architecture and experience the authenticity
of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the ships
that call Lunenburg home: three-masted barque
Picton Castle; Spirit of Adventure, skippered by
round-the-world solo sailor Derek Hatfield; and
iconic schooner Bluenose II, Nova Scotia’s sailing
ambassador (www.bluenose.novascotia.ca).
This brochure is designed to give you an overview
of Lunenburg’s marina services, as well as ways
to enjoy and explore Lunenburg and its working
waterfront.
