Model History
In 1967, the Ford Mustang was first modified. For the first time since its introduction, the model
had serious competitors. This resulted in Ford evaluating the Mustang's strengths and
weaknesses
Amended with a larger chassis, the new 390 cui / 6.4 L V-8 engine with 320 hp can be
installed. Available body styles were Coupe, Convertible and Fastback (2 +2 seater). As for the
2+2 Mustang fastback model, its roofline now ran all the way to the rear trunk lid. In all, the
rear of the Mustang looked bulkier and more performance oriented. The GT package for '67
Mustangs includes headlamps, side stripes, and a dual exhaust system.
Description
Specials: GTA Fastback with 390cui Bigblock
The Mustang GTA Fastback was built in 1967 and delivered to Phoenix. The car comes with
its original color combination lime gold metallic over ivy gold interior.
From 2002 to 2006, the Mustang has been extensively revised (receipts are available). 2007,
the car came from the USA to France. Since 2012 the car is in collectors hands in Austria.
The body substance of the Fastback is in good shape. Engine (S-code 390cui), automatic
transmission, suspension and brakes (disc brakes at front axle) do their job with the proven
reliability. The exterior shows up with typical workmanship standards. The two-tone interior is
in good, original condition.
A rare Fastback which can be improved to good condition.
All GT options are available: fog lights, GT wheels, side panels, tank covers, etc.
This Mustang GTA lives by his legendary engine! The massive torque with a unique sound
gives the ultimate feeling.
