Angelic Swing Cardigan
Angelic Swing Cardigan A skacel collection, Inc. pattern designed by M.E. Langieri For years the knitting world has been obsessed with sweaters knit as circles. This original design is a half-circle with raglan sleeves. Once blocked, the yarn, HiKoo® Trenzado, gives the garment a wonderful drape, and it moves with the wearer, flattering all figure types. As an added bonus, this sweater is knit from the top down, so it can be tried on as it is worked, with no sewing involved. SKILL LEVEL: SIZE and MATERIALS: Sizes Finished Length (center back neck to hem) Yarn (in balls) S/M 25” 15 L/XL 27” 18 1X/2X 29” 20 Featured Yarns: HiKoo® Trenzado; 50% Superwash Merino Wool, and 50% Merino Wool; 109 yds / 50 g ball. addi Needles and Notions: 5.0 mm (approx US 8) 60” circular needle or size to obtain gauge Six (6) stitch markers; tapestry needle All yarn and needles distributed by skacel collection, inc. DESIGNER NOTES: For this sweater, the M1, M1L, and M1R have been used with different definitions than they usually have. M1L and M1R are the same as the LLinc and LRinc used by Cat Bordhi in her book, New Pathways for Sock Knitters. That book has a beautifully illustrated explanation of these two increases that create a line defining the raglan sleeves of this sweater which no other increases will afford.
