The cold slows the bacteria down to where the operators need more bacteria to do the same job fewer were doing during the summer! On November 6th the City Commission adopted ordinance Number 2013-3063 which amends the water rates per 1,000 gallons, rather than per 750 gallons. The ordinance also establishes a wastewater treatment plant improvement service charge of $5.00 per month per meter. The Federal Reserve, U.S. Department of the Treasury, U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and the U.S. Secret Service partner to redesign Federal Reserve notes to stay ahead of counterfeiting threats. The redesigned $100 note includes two new security features: a blue 3-D security ribbon with images of bells and 100s, and a color-changing bell in an inkwell. The new features, and additional features retained from the previous design, such as a watermark, offer the public a simple way to visual- ly authenticate the redesigned March 10, $100 note. 1862? Dog owners must show a certificate of Rabies Vaccination. License fees are $5.00 for each male dog and spayed female dog, and $8.00 for each unsprayed female dog. All persons, firms or corporations owning or harboring a dog or dogs within the city limits must provide a license for their dog before the 1st day of April. License fees as of April 1st are $7.50 for each male dog and spayed female dog, and $12.00 for each unsprayed female dog. The Concordia City Commission intends to involve as many qualified citizens as possible in the governing process. If you are interested in serving the community by becoming a member of one of these boards, commissions or committees, you are asked to fill out a short Expression of Interest Form. To be considered for any appointments, return a completed Expression of Interest Form to the City Clerk’s Office.
