Live together – study together
The internship trainee practice is part of the curricular
education. During the school holidays the students need
to complete a compulsory internship (total extent is
established in the curriculum of the corresponding school
type). You are free to choose the company, department
and contract you like (support is given by our head
teacher).
An ordinary compulsory internship is necessary to be able
to take the final examinations.
Besides your school-based training, we focus on in-house
and external events such as the Styrian Wine trophy, the
night race Schladming or the Vienna Opera ball to give
you the possibility to get as much working experience as
possible.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Our school uniform is one of our hallmarks.
At our school we have a dress code, a uniform school
dress to generate a sense of community and identification
with the school as well as the brand Tourism Collge Bad
Gleichenberg, which we want to strengthen.
A further essential aspect is also the practical preparation
to your future career.
TEAM OF TEACHERS
The area offers several possibilities for students’ living
arrangements; yet certainly the most comfortable is the
option to rent a room in the student boarding house
directly on the TSBG campus.
The openly run student house offers the student single
or double rooms. Communal rooms contribute to better
cooperation and understanding among the students and an
experience of multicultural coexistence.
The full board meals in buffet format are included in the
school fee anyway, and the convenience of having such
a short distance to lessons or the many extra-curricular
options available on campus, (such as fitness studios, a
media library, bicycles, skates, a sports hall and more) are
great advantages, and can be used by the students who live
on campus for no additional charge.
Social competences such as team spirit, reliability or
intercultural experiences are in the centre of attention.
In the leisure time we offer you a comprehensive
programme for sports and wellness, music, culture as well

association is one of the biggest in our sector.
We focus on a strengthened international network

This contract for admission has to be renewed each year. This application will be accepted by the “Steirischer Hotelfachschulverein” if it is not rejected within three weeks from receipt by the headmaster and subjects to the minimum number of students of each training focus or school form. I agree with the house rules for school and boarding houses. You can find the current issue on our homepage (www.download.tourismusschule.com). By signing the contract I, my parents or respectively the parental guardians agree to the regular payment of school fees and other costs. I have been informed about the fees and costs for tuition, subsistence and student st

hostel. The fees have to be paid in advance monthly (8 instalments, 1 September until 1 April; hostel rental1 October until 1 st
May) and will be withdrawn from your bank account. A discount of 4% is granted when paying the whole amount until 1 September. A discount of 2% is granted when paying the semester amount in advance ‐ on 1st September and 1st February. Additionally all fines, legal costs, expenses for collecting fees and information must be paid if there are any to the “Steirischer Hotelfachschulverein” or its legal proxy (e.g. lawyer). The fees for tuition, boarding and hostel rental for a term becomes st
immediately due in full if there is a default of payment. In case of cancellation of the enrolment after 1 September the amount of reservation cannot be refunded. I accept the effective curriculum and will take part in all the lessons. If an exclusion from school or student hostel is pronounced during the term or there is a voluntary withdrawal, the fees for tuition and hostel rental are payable for the whole term. A refund will only be granted for the proportional costs for catering. This regulation also applies to guest students. Fees for tuition, subsistence and rental are to be regarded as one annual fee and therefore proportional refunds are not paid in case of early conclusion of the last term due to inadequate grades. The signatories are all together held responsible for the above mentioned costs. The student and parent or rather guardian permit the Tourismusschulen Bad Gleichenberg (short TSBG) the irrevocable right to use images and videos of, with and about students of the TSBG, which are taken within the school education, in‐house or external courses, practical assignments and around the school environment. This material is used mainly for promotional purposes (website, press releases and promotional materials) and school's publications. All the parties to the contract and signatories agree in case of disputes in this legal matter regardless of the amount involved on the jurisdiction of the district law courts for civil law in Graz (in accordance with § 104 Jurisdiktionsnorm). All the signatories obligate to give immediate notice to the headmaster if their home address has changed. Otherwise delivery to the previous address regardless of the actual place of residence is legal.
