AN INSIGHT TO THE PAST These ‘drawings’ were found on the wall/s of one of the barrack rooms on a site which was known as RNAS Dale They were ‘mostly’ drawn by Sub Lt [A] AR [Dax] Dashfield c1947. He was attached to 790 Squadron of the Fleet Air Arm. Photographed by Gill Charles during the fiftieth celebrations of Harrier which were held, May/June 2011. Officers’ Quarters (1947) The drawings can be seen on the wall and are being studied by members of the Coastlands Local History Group back in 2004.
