AN INSIGHT TO THE PAST
These ‘drawings’ were found on the wall/s of one of the
barrack rooms on a site which was known as
RNAS Dale
They were ‘mostly’ drawn by
Sub Lt [A] AR [Dax] Dashfield c1947.
He was attached to 790 Squadron of the Fleet Air Arm.

The drawings can be seen on the wall and are being studied by members of the
Coastlands Local History Group back in 2004.
The quarters were occupied by Sub Lt [A] AR [Dax] Dashfield and Sub Lt [A] Basil Nash
