Friday night was spent in the company of good friends and
enjoying a meal at ‘The Gate,’ Northwood, one of many
pubs we used to frequent over forty years ago.

On the way to The Gate we passed where the True Lovers Knot used to be.
On leaving The Gate we turned left into Rickmansworth Road, left again into Green Lane
passing the Reindeer Public House and Northwood Station. Then we turned right into
Northwood High Street.
We took a left turn onto the Pinner Road, right at the roundabout at Northwood Hills,
along Joel Street passing ‘The Case is Altered,’ a pub which holds many memories for us.
