EVENTS AND ACTIVITES

It’s Rodeo time in Gladewater. The 79th Annual Round Up will
be June 8—11 starting at 8:15 nightly. Mutton Bustin’ will
start at 7:45 pm. Wednesday, June 8 is Xtreme Bulls. Tickets
are on sale at www.gladewaterrodeo.com or you may go by
the Rodeo tickets office starting Monday. Ticket office 903845-5126. $14 for reserved and general admission.

The 2016 Summer Reading Program at Lee Public Library will
begin June 15 from 11 am to 1 pm. Kick off will be a Fun Day
with face painting, sidewalk chalk art and the Fireman will be
making fire truck bubbles and much more.

Mark your calendars for the Chamber/GEDCO Afternoon Mixer
hosted by Gladewater National Bank. Hours will be from 5 pm
to 6:30 pm.

Saturday, June 18 the Highway 80 Progressive Car Cruise will
be rolling into Gladewater. Registration begins at 7:30am here
in Gladewater until 9 am. From 9:30 to 11am they will have
snacks in Mineola, Lunch in Grand Saline from 11:30 to 1 pm
and Dessert/Awards in Wills Point from 1:30 to 3 pm.

Don’t forget July 2 Fireworks at the Lake. If you have not sent
in your donation, you can now do so thru Paypal for convenience. Fireworks at Lake Gladewater are purchased strictly
thru donations only. East Texas Pyro from Tyler will once
again be our fireworks provider.

PHOTOS AND MORE
The Gladewater Police Department ,thru your donations, will
turn a 1951 Chevy into a vintage police car (siren ,bubble light ,
paint , etc. ) The car and officer will be fully functional and

and enter the Austin Bank sponsored Boat Parade at 7:30 at
the boat dock. Cash prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
place.
