Spring appears to have finally
sprung, and that means it is time
for Springfest! We anticipate
large crowds, multiple vendors,
and plenty of fun the last
weekend of April. A reminder
that Springfest will take place on
Friday and Saturday this year.
We had an excellent Chamber
Membership Drive a few weeks
ago. I want to thank all of our
volunteers, staff, and new
Chamber members for your help
and support. The school year is
winding down, and the Arkansas
Scholars banquet will be
Tuesday, May 7th at 6:30 p.m. at
the Red Apple. We wish all of our
students the best of luck, and
especially our graduating
seniors. See you all at Springfest!
Springfest!
Spring into Spring this April 26 and 27 for the 26th Annual
Heber Springs Chamber of Commerce Springfest. Come
celebrate the season with the Cleburne County Master
Gardeners as they inform us on the latest lawn and garden
techniques. Special Guest Speaker, Horticulture Specialist
Janet Carson will also share her extensive knowledge on
gardening. This year's festivities include the Downtown
Springfling, petting zoo, and inflatables for the kids, arts
and crafts, cupcake contest and the always popular
Butterfly Pavilion. Young ladies are welcome to enter the
Miss Springfest Pageant, and be sure to bring the kids to see
the Arkansas Children's Theatre production of "The Just So
Stories". They'll also be excited to meet Ronald McDonald for
hugs and photos. You also won't want to miss Heber Theatre
as they present "Sagebrush Sidekicks". Don't miss the two car
shows-Classic Cars on the Courthouse lawn and Volkswagens
on the terraces at Spring Park. Activities conclude Saturday
evening with oldies music by Sonny Burgess and the
Legendary Pacers. For a complete listing of times and
