The group has been operating since the second half of the 19th century. Its
core activity has been agroforestry production and wine production.

In 2011 L´AND opened the L’AND Vineyards wine resort in Montemor-o-novo.
The first L´AND project is based on the fusion of contemporary
architecture with the traditional Roman and Arabic patio style thus
enhancing a strong indoor / outdoor connection .
The wine club permitting owners to produce annually their own personal
wine and Sky View Suites (an hotel room that allows guest to open the roof and experience the
night dark sky) are also landmarks of the resort.
