DAY 1: ARRIVE IN DETROIT
VISIT THE MICHIGAN SCIENCE CENTER
The Michigan Science Center (MiSci) features hands-on exhibits, shows, an
IMAX Dome Theatre and a planetarium. Fun for all ages, the center’s programs inspire discovery, exploration and an appreciation of science, technology and math in a creative and exciting environment.
LUNCH AT HOCKEYTOWN CAFE
In the heart of Foxtown, Hockeytown Cafe offers a group-friendly menu
and atmosphere. Check out the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers
memorabilia throughout the restaurant. Twelve spectacular motorcycles,
represent a particular Detroit Red Wings season; two custom bikes are
dedicated to the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers.
Get lost in the DETROIT INSTITUTE OF ARTS
The DIA has been a beacon of culture for the Detroit area for well over
a century, with more than 658,000 square feet including more than
100 galleries. The DIA’s collection ranks among the top six in the United
States and is a must-see when visiting, particularly the stunning murals
in Rivera Court.

TAKE IN THE VIEW ON THE 72ND FLOOR OF THE REN CEN

Go back in time by standing in the original recording studio, “Studio A,”
where Motown’s greatest hits were recorded by greats like Diana Ross and
the Supremes, Smokey Robinson, The Temptations and Marvin Gaye. See
original stage uniforms worn by famous Motown artists, sheet music, early
promotional materials, rare photos and other significant Motown artifacts.
