TROUBLESHOOTING
What happens if my heated gloves don’t get warm?
First, check to ensure that the gloves are connected to a power
source, via either the supplied glove harness and fused motorcycle
power cord or the optional StormRider controller unit (leading to
the motorcycle battery). Where the source will be shared with the
StormRider body-warmer, please ensure the Y-connector is linked
to both glove harness and StormRider main power cable (right hand
pocket of body-warmer as worn).
Should you have any questions about your heated products,

STORMGUARD
Your high performance StormGuard heated gloves have
been designed to provide you with warmth and comfort to
enhance the safety and enjoyment of your motorcycle riding
experience.
Our unique heating system uses FabRoc®, a revolutionary
polymer that is extremely efficient in generating heat from a
low voltage power source. FabRoc® panels are sewn into the
gloves to provide direct heat to key areas (tops of fingers/
thumbs and back of hand). FabRoc® is scientifically proven
to be therapeutically beneficial, with no wires or hotspots,
removing the curse of frozen fingers, it is also an excellent
product for serious all-year use.
The FabRoc® panels are pre-set to a maximum surface
temperature of 500C. It is not possible to ‘overheat’
FabRoc® as it automatically uses less power as it reaches its
operating temperature, a unique property that ensures the
material is very safe.
CONNECTING TO THE MOTORCYCLE
The StormGuard gloves are simple to set up and operate.
Every pair comes supplied with a standard power cable, which has
an inline 10 amp fuse. One ringed terminal should be connected to
the motorcycle battery positive terminal (red fuse box). The other
should be connected to the battery negative terminal.
To operate the StormGuard gloves, simply place the supplied glove
(long) harness around your shoulders, threading a line down each
jacket sleeve to connect with your gloves. The other line will run
down the back (or front if preferred) to meet with the inline fused
power cord or optional StormRider controller unit (please go to
www.exo2.co.uk for this option). Remember to use the included
Y-connector cable when you wish to run your StormGuard gloves
off the same power supply as your StormRider body-warmer
(see diagram).
