Unlike almost all other wine suppliers to yachts, we actually hold massive stocks across dozens of
vintages of the finest, and often rarest, wines in the world. At the time of preparing this list, every single
wine within it was available from our cellars. Holding actual stocks means that we are the best placed to
fulfil your order, within a matter of hours if necessary, with great wines in perfect condition. Most suppliers
simply order them in meaning you get just-travelled wine of unknown provenance. Not a risk worth taking.
It is therefore likely we will already have the wines your guests have requested. If not, we will, given
sufficient time, find the specific wines your guests require. Alternatively we will recommend suitable wines
according to any criteria your guests have given you (style, origin, budget or menu) with which we are
confident they will be delighted.

Tax Free Deliveries
As of January 2016 new tax legislation has
come into effect in France. To qualify for
tax free deliveries as a commercial vessel a
yacht must now satisfy all of the following
conditions:
• Be commercially registered
• Have a permanent crew
• Be used for commercial purposes only
• Be at least 15m long
• Exit French waters for at least 70% of
trips per year.
The below must also apply to the specific
charter for which the goods are being
purchased:
• The purchase cannot be for a static
charter.
• The amount purchased is in keeping
with the duration of the charter and its
number of guests.
You will need to provide, in advance, copies
of the following:
• Certificate of Commercial Registration
• The specific Charter Agreement
• Crew list
• Declaration of Compliance
The Customs Agents fees payable are at least
€199. Therefore tax free delivery is not viable
where this amount exceeds the tax due –
orders of less than €1020 alcohol or €3620
soft drinks.
Please note that due to Customs constraints
we usually need to provide at least 48 hours’
notice to carry out a tax free delivery.
Deliveries can only be made during Customs
hours and following receipt of their approval.
In practice this means deliveries can only be
made 09.00–12.00 and 14.00–17.00, Monday
to Friday.
No return of goods can be accepted once the
delivery has cleared Customs.
Customs reserve the right to board the vessel
at the time of delivery and subsequently.
There are potentially serious consequences for
false declarations.

Château Roquefort is produced from 25 year old vines on the limestone clay
soils of the hills of Entre-Deux-Mers, from where probably Bordeaux’s best
value originates. Unlike most similarly priced wines from the region, this is
entirely from the property’s own vineyards with no blending of other grapes
or wines. A Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend which has a wonderful
nose of damsons and plums.

The Potensac vineyards have similar soils to St Estèphe and this really comes
through in this elegant, earthy wine. Made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
and Cabernet Franc. It has a lovely, elegant nose of red and black fruit,
followed by attractive, pure plum and raspberry flavours with cedar and
mineral hints and a good tannic structure.

The Camensac vineyards are on a gravelly elevation in the commune of Saint-LaurentMédoc, and the excellent drainage afforded by the deep, stony soil is augmented by a
system of field drains. The various plots, all entitled to the Haut-Médoc appellation, are
cared for on an individual basis. Attractive ripe cherry and blackcurrant fruit intermixed
with hints of damp earth, spice and new wood from this charming Médoc property.

The unusual name of this property, undoubtedly the finest estate in Moulis, means (loosely) to

awarded high classed growth status, and would fetch vastly higher prices these days.

The wines from Château Poujeaux in Moulis are often amongst the finest value on offer
from the Médoc. Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) with the balance a mixture of Merlot,
Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this is a classically styled Bordeaux. The vibrant flavours
of cassis, damson and spice are intermingled with cedary oak and vanilla.

St Julien produces some of the most delicious
of the Médoc’s wines. Actually the smallest of the four
major Médoc regions despite being home to the highest

Beychevelle’s name comes from ‘Baisse-Voile’ in reference to the fact that the ships passing by
the château lowered their sails in deference and allegiance to Admiral Jean-Louis Nogaret de
la Valette, the property’s first owner under Henri III. To this day, Beychevelle has the prettiest
and most dramatic impact on the riverbank of the Gironde estuary.

CHATEAU DUCRU BEAUCAILLOU
The name of this estate comes from the former owner, Mr. Ducru, and a description of the
land it comprises: ‘beau caillou’ literally means ‘beautiful pebble’. Pebbles and small stones
permit good drainage of the soil, and their presence in the soils of the Médoc contributes
hugely to the quality of the wines.
