iPad App
Now that Return to Sender offers a full range of
caskets we want to make sure you have everything
you need to provide the best casket experience for
your families.
To support funeral directors and families during the
arrangement, we have developed a fully customisable
iPad app that includes our complete range of caskets.
Gallery or Casket Selector –
it’s your choice
There are two easy ways for you to show families your
casket range: The Gallery and the innovative Casket
Selector.
Interact with families in an intuitive way, using
state-of-the-art technology without having to worry
about where to start.
If you choose the Gallery, your families will be able to
browse through the caskets just like they would in a
printed catalogue.
You can easily add your own images, videos and
PDF files and change the complete look of the app
If you choose the Casket Selector, your families will
have the chance to completely customise their casket
in a way that makes it easier for them to come to a
decision.
The Return to Sender iPad App is available on the
App Store and free to all our clients.

It’s an easy-to-use tool that allows you to showcase
all of your products and services in a branded
environment.

Head to the App Store and search for “Return to
Sender”. Purchase the Return to Sender iPad App
and we will credit the purchase price towards your
next casket or urn order.

When you open the app for the first time you will see
the front screen with your pre-loaded galleries.
The front screen functions as the launch pad for the
rest of the app, providing the navigational functions
for your galleries and for accessing the management
areas.
Every aspect of the front screen is customisable, with
the minimum content being Return to Sender caskets
and urns and the configure button (by default this is in
the bottom right corner). You can easily add your own
galleries, including new casket galleries for caskets
from other suppliers.

Customise the Return to Sender iPad App

Tap the configure button, then “Customize
Appearance”. This will take you to the theme selector.
Tap “Customize” then “Edit Appearance”.
You will see the front screen with the customization
panel.
NB: You might want to duplicate themes later or create
new ones for example to use the app accross several
brands.

Tap anywhere on the background image to access the
media selector. You will need two files to replace the
background image:
1 landscape fomat 2048 x 1496 pixel
1 portrait format 1536 x 2008 pixel
These can be on the iPad’s Camera Roll or a number of
file sharing services.

Tap anywhere on the gallery strip at the bottom. This
will open the editing panel where you can customize
text size, color and the way your thumbnails are
displayed.
When you’re finished, confirm the changes, then tap
“Close Customization Panel”. This will take you back
to the theme selector.
Tap “Done”.

“Manage Galleries” or explore the full range of
Return to Sender caskets and urns.

The Gallery shows all caskets within each category
alongside each other, making it easy to compare them.
You will also find a short (1 min) video introduction
you may want to show families, explaining what it is
that makes every Return to Sender casket so special.

The Casket Selector guides the family through a number
of decisions (style, colour, handles) and presents them
with their personal casket choice.
The Casket Selector can make it easier and more
intuitive for your client families to choose their casket.
