If you are looking for a beautiful
wedding venue in Wales, Soughton
hall offers a superior elegant
atmosphere which makes the perfect
venue for a stylish and romantic
wedding day.
Weddings at Soughton hall are a very
special occasion designed especially
for you. We have a strict policy of only
hosting one wedding at a time. Unlike
other venues, there are no rules, set
numbers or required packages –
our wedding coordinators will help
you design the day of your dreams
from red carpet arrival to rose petal
turndown.
We can cater for wedding between 20
and 300 guests in our events spaces
which include our stunning Gardens
and permanent marquee space. We
are also licensed for Civil Ceremonies
or if you prefer a church wedding
there are a selection of lovely local
churches to choose from.
You can also enjoy the luxury of using
Soughton Hall on an exclusive use
basis.
You and your guests can enjoy the
freedom of using the whole hotel and
gardens from 1pm on the day of your
wedding until 11am the following day.

Church Weddings
We are licensed for civil ceremonies in a choice of two
rooms; The Dining Room and The Drawing Room.
Our local churches are Northop Church and St
Marys in Mold.
Both are airy and light filled rooms with stunning views
of our gardens. It is also possible to hold an outdoor
blessing ceremony under a pergola in the gardens.

notice of your intended marriage where you live. Mold

Exclusive Use
We want you to have the day of your dreams so we you
don’t have to have minimum numbers or compulsory
packages to marry at Soughton Hall.
One of the advantages of Soughton Hall is that it is small
enough to have it all to yourself, whilst still being grand
enough to suit the occasion.
We cater for everything from champagne and canapés
to beer and bangers and mash!
The hotel is available on an exclusive use basis all year
round, which enables you and your guests to have the
run of the whole hotel and grounds from 1pm on the
day of your wedding until 11am on the day of departure.
Many clients like packages to take some of the stress
out of organising the big day. These include extras such
as flowers, table plans and music and are available if
you wish to have them. If you don’t want a package but
would like us to arrange one of the elements in it, then
just let us know and we’ll do the rest!

The Dining Room can be used for
smaller ceremonies, private dining and
meetings.
The Drawing Room
This room offers views of the gardens
and is perfect for the larger civil
ceremonies. It can also be used as a
wedding breakfast venue for up to 50
people.
The Marquee
An elegant and modern permanent
marquee accessed from within the
hotel, erected specifically for weddings,
special celebrations and events. With
its high ceilings and ivory drapes it
provides all the glitz and glamour of a
marquee wedding without the price
tag,
giving you more budget to spend on
all the other little luxuries to make your
day special.
The Marquee is beautiful on its own,
but can be dressed with fairy lights and
coloured uplighters to accent your
wedding colours. It comes complete
with all the facilities your guests will
need and is fully heated.
