Youth
Group
God is doing some
really incredible
things here amongst
the youth in Ko_evje.
We started our youth
group in November
with 8 youth, and
now we have 20!
They bring new
friends every week!
We offer a safe place
to gather and learn
about God. About
half of these kids do
not know Jesus YET
as their personal
Savior. Pray for
them!
AMP CAMP
Don’t forget to pray for “Amp Camp,” winter ski camp coming Feb. 7-10.
The lodge has room for 80 kids and so far we have 71 going. Three of our youth
can’t go because of cost and we want to mention that as an opportunity to
sponsor one of these kids. The cost is $190 and that includes 3 nights room and
board, 3 days of skiing/boarding with lessons and the Gospel every night. We
praise God for the 71, but are looking for the other 9. Let’s fill the lodge!
Every night we will get together and talk about what it means to follow Jesus.
Just like how an “amp” works, Jesus has the ability to “amp” up your life if you
plug into Him as your Source.
We need prayer for this time as the staff look for opportunities to share Christ
on the slope, in the lobby, and late, really late at night. Pray for soft, open hearts
and protection against the enemy.
FREE RIDE
We are calling it “Free Ride” and I love that title! Snowboarders For Christ (SFC)
are coming and we are taking over the 4 biggest ski resorts in Slovenia. The resorts are even building
ramps and bowls and promoting the “Free Ride” events! The best thing about this… Pro boarders are
going to share their powerful testimonies and the Gospel at each event. Pray that everyone will grasp that
God has an awesome ride waiting for them and it is the ONLY thing that satisfies and gives eternal life!
