IMPACT WEAKNESS OF THE PROPOSAL: “No outreach activities are proposed” “The proposal does not provide enough details about outreach activities” “There is insufficient evidence to demonstrate their impact” “Outreach activities are not sufficiently and clearly addressed” “The planned outreach activities are rather generic, and not described in detail” What? Goal: to create awareness among the general public about the research work performed in the MCA's and its implications for citizens to introduce students from schools and universities to science, research and innovation these students should be encouraged and motivated to pursue careers in science “Researchers should ensure that their research activities are made known to society at large in such a way that they can be understood by non-specialists, thereby improving the public's understanding of science.
