ESSAY WRITING CONTEST ON THE MOST GENDER SENSITIVE FILM DURING
THE 2O{I METRO MANILA FILII,I FESTIVAL
1. To promote gender awareness
in' education and enhance appreciation of gender
sen$itive local films, the Gender and Development Resource and CoordinatingiOffice
with the Office of Vice Mayor and the Division of City Schools, Quezon City, will Eonduct
an Essay Writing Contest on the most sensitive film during the 2011 Metro Manila Film
Festival(MMFF).

2. The contest is divided into two categories: high schools students and high school
teachers.
- 3. Each secondary school is requested to send one entry for each category on or before
February 7, 2012. Entries must be submitted to any of the following offices:

.The following are the mechanics of the contest::
a. The contest should be relative to one of the 2011 MMFF officialentries shown from
December 25, 2011to January 31,2012.
b. Entries should have a minimum o1200 and maximum of 300 words.

c. Entries should be typed double spaced in short or long bond paper using the Arial
font and 12 font size.
d. Contestants must submit five (5) hard copies.
e
Contestants must append their movie tickets.

Attached are the entry form and the,list of MMFF entries to select from.
