This is Explorer Sport Trac. A vehicle that combines the strength of a truck with the comfort and capability
of an SUV. Its standard 210-hp* 4.0L SOHC V6 engine, together with the available five-speed automatic
transmission, can tow more than 5,000 lbs. (when properly equipped) and produce 248 lb.-ft. of torque.**
Most of which is low-end torque, we should add. And that means stronger acceleration and lots of pulling
power. But it’s not all truck-like behavior here. Five can get situated quite comfortably, with plenty of room
in the open cargo bed for everyone’s stuff. And Sport Trac can be equipped with either a 4x2 or 4x2/4x4
configuration and an Independent Front SLA Suspension for off-road capability. So, yes. You can have it all.
