You will be happy your child is learning about “the laws of Aerodynamics”,
Bernoulis Principle and air pressure
science. Your kids will be thrilled as
they build real energy airplanes and
amazing flying contraptions, construct mazes and race marbles, participate with motion science stunts
and hands-on stations, launching giant smoke rings and get dizzy with
parrallel lines! Kids take home their
own looping airplane as well.

What is crucial to success in school and personal life? Good communication! Many of us are asked to give impromptu speeches,
whether at school, work or social engagements. Impromptu
Speech teaches skills critical to speaking effectively on the spot.
Students learn how to manage public speaking anxiety, present
themselves with confidence, analyze heir audience quickly, organize ideas quickly and clearly, deliver speech effectively and use
engaging nonverbal communication. Help your child gain confidence and develop skills that hold life long value! Small classes, detailed feedback, and professional coaches. Final speeches
recorded. A $25 lab fee is payable to the instructor at the first
class. Location: Millbrae Library
This course offers an introduction to drawing techniques. Classes enhance basic to advanced drawing
skills, art techniques and vocabularies. Young Rembrandts’ offers children a world of opportunity to help
develop their artistic ability and express their creativity. We teach new lessons each week in a positive and nurturing environment, which brings out the
best in each child. You’ll see an increase in learning
skills, focus, art abilities, self confidence and selfesteem.

Since 1982 we have taught thousands of children, kindergarten-6th grade, the safe use of woodworking hand-tools. After first building their sanding
block and supertop, kids may choose from a wide variety of fun projects including: boats, clocks, games, trucks, doll furniture, and many more. While
building their projects from scratch children are introduced to concepts like applied math, problem solving, fine motor skills, and empowered to become
independent thinkers. Our motto: Building confidence and teaching with respect and humor in a safe and happy environment. Visit our website and
watch our 8 minute documentary. www.kidscarpentry.net

Drive Home Guitar Class
This class is perfect for busy adults who want to continue to improve on the guitar.
You will learn how to optimize your limited practice time. This class will play a wide
variety of songs, learn guitar techniques, note reading and basic music theory as
needed.
Guitar 101
This class takes a more intensive approach to “seeing” the fretboard. Students are
taught moveable bar chords and scales, improve note reading, and lots of riffs with
the goal of developing a foundation for performance and improvisation. The class
will apply these skills as students rehearse blues, classical, rock, and folk music.
Guitar Workshop
This is a continuing class for guitarists who already play and can read music to some
degree. You’ll learn more advanced techniques, practical theory, and improvisation,
and apply these skills to a variety of jazz, blues, classical, and rock tunes.
