TheGoodenSchoolboardoftrusteesarepleasedtoannouncetheappointmentofKimSnyderand
RobertSweeneytoitsboard.TheGoodenSchool,celebratingits40thyearinSierraMadre,offersa
classicaleducationforthe21stcenturywithhighacademicstandards,areputationfortheartsand
servicelearning.Mr.SnyderandMr.Sweeneyarejoiningaboardconsistingofparents,formerparents
andbusinessandcommunityleadersfromtheSanGabrielValley.

boardoftrustees,”saidNadileeRussell,ChairmanoftheBoard.“KimandRob,withtheirdeepexpertise
intheworldsofcorporatefinance,corporategovernanceandrealestate,coupledwiththeirloveofthe
schoolasparentsofalumni,makethembothidealadditionstoourstrongboardoftrustees.”
AspresidentoftheSouthwestRegion,KimSnyderisresponsibleforallregionalactivitiesincluding
development,acquisitionsandoperationsforPrologis,thegloballeaderinindustriallogisticsreal
estateacrosstheAmericas,EuropeandAsia.KeymarketsinthisregionincludeSouthernCalifornia,Las
Vegas,SanDiegoandPhoenix.PriortoPrologis,hejoinedAMB,bringingmorethan25yearsof
experienceinrealestatedevelopmentandconstruction,acquisitionsanddispositions,leasing,
marketingandfinance.AsmanagingdirectorandseniorvicepresidentduringhistenureatAMB,Mr.
SnyderoversawtheAirportGroup,MexicoandBraziloperations.Mr.Snyderalsoservedaspresidentof
ParagonCapitalCorporationandCEOofParagonDevelopment,Inc.andwasformerlymanaging
directorforInsignia-ESG’sWesternRegiondevelopmentoperation.
Mr.SnyderhasabachelorofsciencefromArizonaStateUniversity,summacumlaude,andanMBAfrom
theHarvardBusinessSchool.SnyderservesontheindustryadvisoryboardatthePeterDruckerSchool
(ClaremontUniversityGraduateSchool),theadvisoryboardfortheNAIOPInlandEmpirechapter,the
boardoftheInlandEmpireLogisticsCouncil,andtheboardandtechnicalcommitteeofFibraPLbased
inMexicoCity.Mr.SnyderandhiswifeMeghanhavehadtwochildrengraduatefromTheGooden
School,withathirdnowinthefifthgrade.
CurrentlyCEOandpresidentandfounder/CEOofDiamondPacificVentureCapital,forthelasttenyears
Mr.Sweeneyhasservedaspresidentand/orCEOofthreeseparatecommercialbanks,includingFar
EastNationalBank,GlobalTrustBankandmostrecentlyEvergreenInternationalBank.Hisroleineach
wastostabilizebankswithregulatory,marketandmanagementissueswhilepresentingtheboardand
ownershipofeachwithoptionsforrenewedgrowthorstrategicexit.Forthelastyearhehasworkedin
privateequitystructuringandmanaginginvestmentsbothdomesticallyandinternationally.
Priortoenteringcommercialbanking,Mr.SweeneywasmanagingdirectorofGECapital’sGlobal
ElectronicsSolutionsplatformbasedinAsiaandintegrationmanagerforGE’sacquisitionofComdisco
Electronics.HebeganhiscareerwithGEin1997inMexicoCity.PriortoenteringGE,
Mr.Sweeneyworkedforthreeyearsasaworkoutspecialistonlargescaletransactionsattherecently
privatizedGrupoFinancieroSerfininMexico,havingbegunhisbusinesscareerwithBooz,Allenand
HamiltoninMexicoCityin1992.Mr.SweeneyholdsabachelorofartsinclassicsfromtheUniversityof
ColoradoandamastersininternationalfinanceandbankingfromColumbiaUniversity.Helivesin
PasadenawithhiswifeMariaandtheirandthreechildren,allofwhomattendedtheGoodenSchool.
