A message from the
Chairman of the Board
Dear Fellow Chamber Members,
The weather is warming up and my year as Chairman of
this outstanding Board of Directors is winding down.
It’s hard to believe that the Chamber year wraps up in
just four short months. But what a busy and exciting
eight months it has been for all of us.
Sometimes it is a challenge to find fresh new words to
describe how productive, relevant and empowering our
Clear Lake Area Chamber really is. So, I will share this
story with you; I was asked to attend and welcome
the Gulf Coast Chamber Executives monthly board
meeting, hosted by our Chamber at Space Center
Houston. A president from a neighboring Chamber of
Commerce commented to me, “I hope you realize how
amazing your Chamber and staff are. They are one of
the leading Chambers in our State.” We should all be very proud of our Chamber
not only for our dedicated staff but also our thriving membership.
A big thank you goes out to all the participants, sponsors and volunteers of our SOLD
OUT Business and Wellness Expo at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Businesses are
already inquiring about next year’s event, so make sure to mark your calendars early
to ensure your participation.
Lastly, I want to plug our next event coming up June 2nd at AMF Alpha LanesWebster. Presented by The Lighthouse Bar & Bistro at South Shore, the “NO
EXPERIENCE NECESSARY” Bowling Tournament is always a hoot and a half!
It is a great way to simply come out and have some laughs with friends and fellow
chamber members. The bowling teams are commpletely sold out, but we welcome
everyone to swing by and join in on the FUN. Summer is almost here so stay cool,
stay safe and enjoy your Clear Lake Area Chamber Summer. Cheers!
