The 7th China International Tourism Commodities Fair Rounded Off Successfully
The four-day event of the 7th China International Tourism Commodities Fair (CITCF), rounded off
successfully at the Yiwu International Expo Center on May 27, 2015. The organizer committee this year
invited the world leading trade fair company - Hannover Milano Fairs China Ltd. as one of the show
organizers to join hands with the CITCF, successfully
attracting more than 1,200 companies from home
and abroad. The overseas exhibitors were from 18
countries and regions including Ethiopia, Australia,
Germany, Philippines, Finland, Korea, Czech,
Guinea-Bissau, Cameroon, Comoros, South Africa,
Switzerland, Senegal, Sudan, Greece, Spain, Singapore
and China Taiwan; while domestic exhibitors were
from 31 provinces, municipalities and regions as well
as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
With the theme of “Smart Travel with Stylish Gadgets”,
the CITCF 2015 gathered innovative, intelligent and traditional tourism products and services from all
over the world, covering a total display area of 50,000 sqm. The show fully promoted the new concept of
“Internet + Tourism” onsite and debuted the sector of tourist toilet. This year’s show totally
accommodated 2,017 international standard booths and welcomed more than 100,000 visits. Overseas
buyers from 82 countries and regions including Brazil, Bulgaria, Russia, Colombia, South Korea, Malaysia,
the United States, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and India have visited the event and closed deals
totaling RMB 3.578 billion yuan.
The CITCF has hit new historical records in exhibition scale and exhibit quality under the new
organization, new configuration and new theme, and has won recognition and acclaim from most
exhibitors. Mr. James Fu, General Manager of Hannover Milano Fairs China Ltd., said the success of the
company in taping into the third-tier cities meant that there were tremendous business opportunities in

Zhejiang Province, and jointly organized by China Tourism Association, Zhejiang Tourism Bureau, Yiwu
People’s Government and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd.
Multiple highlights sparkling the show
Compared with those of previous years, the percentage of overseas exhibitors has increased
conspicuously. The booths and products presented by exhibitors from 18 countries and regions have
showcased their exotic features; while international enterprises presenting high-end and tasteful images
have attracted numerous buyers. Meanwhile, exhibitors from Chinese provinces and municipalities
showed no less glamor. They were more enthusiastic than previous years and occupied more exhibition
areas than that of last year. Exhibitors from 31 provinces and municipalities, including Beijing, Shanghai,
Jiangsu, Anhui, Sichuan, Jilin, Guangdong, Hubei, Zhejiang and the Xinjiang Production and Construction
Corps have attended the show. Breaking the tradition of classifying exhibitors by province, the organizers
divided the exhibitors into three major categories, namely the “One Belt One Road” Economic Belt,
Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Circle / Bohai-Rim Economic Circle and the Yangtze Economic Belt. In the
era of ubiquitous information, the signs of “Internet+” could be seen everywhere in the Hall C1.
On the basis of covering 5 halls and outdoor space of
the fairground, the CITCF was basically divided into:
Hall A1: camping equipment and facilities (e.g.
caravan and bungalow); Hall B1: outdoor products
and featured commodities; Hall C1: a pavilion for
intelligent tourism and international goods; Hall D1:
a pavilion for environmentally-friendly tourist toilets;
Hall E1: a place for provinces and cities to showcase
