Companion® ClearStar® Pump & Pump Set
The FLEXIFLO Companion® ClearStar® Pump offers versatility, portability
and dependability.
Easy Patient Care in a Compact Delivery System
The Companion ClearStar Pump is light weight and compact, weighing
just 600g outside the charging unit. The small size and light weight enhances
patient mobility as well as making life easier for both patients and the HCP.
Easy to Read and Program
The backlit display allows for easy night-time read-outs and the clear control
panel steps you through the set up procedure.
No More False Alarms
The pump is neither light nor motion sensitive. The unit provides both audio
and visual safety alarms to indicate occlusion, empty container, dose
complete, low battery and start reminder.
Reliable Accuracy
Companion ClearStar is accurate to ±10% and flow rate can be
adjusted from 1-300mL per hour in increments of 1mL. The long life battery
provides 24hrs at 125mL/hour when fully charged.
An emphasis on Safety
The tiered lilac connector attached to the tubing is NOT IV compatible.
FLEXIFLO Interlocking Feeding Set Connector
The special interlocking design of the Feeding Set Connector holds the
FLEXIFLO nasogastric, gastrostomy feeding tube and FLEXIFLO pump
set together firmly, minimising the chance of separation.

Designed to Improve Patient Safety
The Flexiflo Patrol Enteral Pump continues to build on the successful
Flexiflo range. The Patrol Pump introduces a new generation of patient
safety and caregiver benefits for controlled enteral feeding.
Free-Flow Alarm
The alarm provides added security by stopping the pump and alerting the
caregiver if a free-flow condition arises when the set is correctly loaded.
Unique Safe-T-Valve
Introducing a special feature designed to protect against runaway feeding
when the set is improperly loaded or becomes separated from the pump.
User Friendly Pump Programming
The dial settings and display makes pump programming easy to learn,
use and teach others, confidently eliminating guesswork when establishing
set-up. Memory retention of RATE (1 to 300mL/hr in 1mL increments),
DOSE (1 to 9999mL in 1mL increments) and VOLUME FED makes
monitoring of patient feeding problem-free.
Pump Set Protection Against IV Hook-Up
The Patrol Pump Set tiered connector ensures accidental connection
to an IV set cannot be achieved. Lilac colour of connections represents
enteral feeding.

The FLEXIFLO® gastrostomy tube may be used as a primary catheter in surgical
gastrostomy or as a replacement tube.

The rounded tip of the FLEXIFLO gastrostomy tube makes insertion into the
stoma easier.
Moulded Y-Port
The moulded Y-port has a side port opening to allow easy flushing and
medication administration without disconnecting the feeding set.
