School Mission Statement:

child is unique, will work to create and implement a learning environment
that will enable our students to attain measurable growth.
Principal’s
Message:
We have finished another exciting school year
at Middle School – East!
Throughout the school year, parents continued
to support our school with incredible amounts of
volunteering. Parents made a difference by their
fundraising, chaperoning, advising, attending
events, and helping students. Together with our
staff, parent volunteers helped us achieve our
mission of creating an educational experience
that truly creates opportunities for our students’
future.
Throughout the school year, our students were able to witness the
value of serving our community with our school’s commitment to:
honoring our country’s veterans, contributing to food banks, hosting
Relay for Life, implementing “green” initiatives, and fundraising for
charitable organizations. We are proud that our students learn more than
the basics, they learn how to be a valuable members of their community.
Throughout the school year, our students continued to amaze us with
their terrific academic accomplishments. Students won county and state
writing awards! More than 200 students earned a 3.7 or better grade
point average for the school year! 47 8th graders accomplished this for
three years in a row! We met our school improvement goals and remain
committed to providing the greatest educational experience possible. We
are proud of our Academic Accomplishments at Middle School – East.
In Athletics, our 8th grade girls never lost an athletic contest with a
combined record of 32 wins and 0 losses in Volleyball, Basketball, and
Track!
The 2012-2013 school year was filled with many wonderful moments
and great accomplishments. Our success is truly a team effort with our
parents and the surrounding community.
