UNDERSIGNED AGREE THAT THIS AGREEMENT APPLIES FOR EACH AND EVERY DAY PARTICIPANT ENGAGES IN AN ACTIVITY
DURING 2016, WITHOUT REQUIRING UNDERSIGNED TO SIGN AN ADDITIONAL FORM FOR EACH DAY AND/OR EACH ACTIVITY, UNTIL
UNDERSIGNED REVOKE IT IN WRITING AND THAT WRITING IS ACCEPTED IN A WRITING SIGNED BY THE RESORTS' AUTHORIZED
REPRESENTATIVE.
Undersigned are advised and understand that under Colorado law any person using a ski area for the purpose of skiing, which includes, without
limitation, sliding downhill or jumping on snow or ice on skis, a toboggan, a sled, a tube, a snowbike, a snowboard or any other device; or for the
purpose of using any of the facilities of a ski area, including but not limited to ski slopes and trails, is considered a "skier" and, further, that Colorado
law provides that a skier using the facilities of a ski area assumes certain "inherent dangers and risks of skiing" as defined in the Colorado Ski Safety
Act (the "Act"). NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, ADULT ACKNOWLEDGES, UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT BY SIGNING THIS
AGREEMENT, ADULT FOR HIM/HER SELF AND, IF APPLICABLE, ON BEHALF OF MINOR, IS WAIVING RIGHTS, AND RELEASING CLAIMS
IN CONNECTION WITH, AND IS VOLUNTARILY ASSUMING ALL DANGERS AND RISKS OF EACH ACTIVITY, WHETHER INHERENT OR
OTHERWISE, AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER IDENTIFIED IN THIS AGREEMENT OR IN THE ACT.
Adult agrees to read, to have Minor read and, if necessary explain to Minor all posted signs and warnings including instructions on use of lifts and
rental and other equipment and Undersigned agree Participant will obey all signs and warnings posted at the Resort, and to obey instructions from
Resort staff. Adult agrees and understands that Minor will be using ski lifts without a coach, Resort representative or other adult present.
Undersigned understand that Participant must have the physical dexterity and knowledge to safely load, ride and unload the lifts. Undersigned
assume the risks of Participant riding the lifts and engaging in all activities accessible from the lifts. Undersigned are advised that ATV’s,
snowmobiles, snowmaking, snow-grooming and other equipment or vehicles may be encountered at any time and that Participant must be alert for
and avoid such equipment. Undersigned understand that entering or skiing in a "CLOSED" area is illegal and more dangerous to Participant and
others than skiing in areas of the ski area that are open to the public and/or Camp participants. Undersigned understand that any Activity involve
risks of injury and/or death. Undersigned acknowledge that there are dangers and risks of participating in any Activity. Undersigned understand that
there will be other Activity participants at or around the Resort. Additional risks of any Activity include, without limitation, falls, drops, hits,
depressions, equipment and feature malfunction, burns, bruising and damage to clothes from falls on the skiing and other surfaces, collisions with
other participants, spectators and property. Undersigned understand that the use of Resort and Woodward facilities and participation in any Activity
involves dangers and risks, including but not limited to, the risks mentioned above, as well as high elevation, varying weather and snow conditions,
avalanches and other moving snow, slippery surfaces, wildlife encounters, lightening, sun exposure, marked and unmarked obstacles, slick or
uneven surfaces, surfaces covered with ice, snow, gravel, rugged mountainous terrain, dehydration, overexertion, travel to and from venues where
an Activity takes place, sharing facilities and venues with people directly involved and/or not directly involved in an Activity and overnight stays in
lodging facilities. Undersigned understand that there are risks involved in decision-making and conduct of Resort employees involved with an
Activity, including, but not limited to, the risk that a coach/counselor/instructor may misjudge Participant’s abilities, conditioning, equipment DIN
settings or misjudge weather, terrain, snow conditions, route selection, location, or some aspect of Participant's mental, emotional or physical
condition that may make a certain portion of any Activity appropriate or inappropriate for the Participant. Adult acknowledges on Adult's and Minor's
behalf that falls and collisions occur and INJURIES or DEATH may result from participation in any Activity.
Undersigned agree to inspect all equipment and facilities before use and ask questions of Resort employees if Participant does not fully understand
how to use the equipment and facilities. Undersigned accept for use "AS IS" any equipment and facilities Participant uses and agree to notify Resort
personnel of and, if applicable, to return immediately for replacement or repair any equipment believed to be damaged or defective. Adult accepts
full responsibility for the care of the equipment used for an Activity including loaned and rental equipment to include skis, snowboarding equipment,
bicycles, skateboards, longboards, digglers, helmets, Go-Pro’s and accessary equipment and agrees that Adult is responsible for the replacement at
full retail value of any equipment damaged or not returned on a timely bases. Undersigned agree that Participant must wear a helmet all times while
skateboarding, skiing, snow boarding, and biking, and while using all jumps and sliding features in the Woodward Barn and Cage. Undersigned
pg. 9
acknowledges that Resort recommends that Participant wear other protective equipment including but not limited to knee and elbow pads while
skateboarding, in-line skating, scootering, riding bicycles, and with Parkboard™ and Parkskis™. Undersigned acknowledge and understand that a
helmet cannot guarantee Participant's safety and no helmet can protect the wearer against all potential head injuries or prevent injuries to the
wearer's face, neck or spinal cord. Undersigned understand that bindings may not release at all times or under all circumstances where
release may prevent injury or death and also may release unexpectedly. In snowboarding, cross-country, telemark skiing, snowblading,
and ski boarding, the binding system will not ordinarily release during use. These bindings may not be designed to release as a result of
forces generated during ordinary operation.
Undersigned authorize Resort to bring Participant, to participate or observe, on all offsite outings, including but not limited to events such as
mountain and BMX biking, scooters, in-line skating, skateboarding, and all other field trips planned by Resort, unless and until Undersigned notifies
Resort in writing that Undersigned does not wish for Participant, if a Minor, to participate in a field trip or offsite outing. Undersigned further
understand that Participant will travel in Resort vehicles within and outside of Summit County, Colorado for field trips and offsite outings.
Undersigned recognize, understand and agree that participation in terrain park style progression programs is more hazardous and dangerous than
recreational skiing. Participant is provided an opportunity to conduct a reasonable pre use inspection of all features both inside and on mountain and
Participant must make his/her own decision about whether to participate, given the conditions at the time. Undersigned understand, agree and
represent that Participant must always engage in reasonable inspection and decision-making pertaining to participation. Undersigned freely assumes
ALL dangers and risks of all course and venue conditions, including but not limited to course or feature design, course or feature construction,
course or feature layout, all terrain, jumps, obstacles and course or feature maintenance. Participant will be entering into and using freestyle terrain
that contains, among other features, spines, urban staircases, wall rided, moguls, jumps, hits, ramps, banks, jibs, rails, fun boxes, half-pipes,
quarterpipes, snowcross, freestyle bumps and other constructed and natural features. UNDERSIGNED UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT USE
OF THE FREESTYLE TERRAIN IS MORE HAZARDOUS AND DANGEROUS THAN ORDINARY RECREATIONAL SKIING AND, IN PARTICULAR,
THAT BECOMING INVERTED DURING AN AERIAL MANEUVER SUBSTANTIALLY INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
Undersigned understand that coaching or other supervised participation in an Activity does not in any way eliminate the dangers and risks of an
Activity or dangers and risks involved in riding ski lifts or using Freestyle Terrain, including but not limited to; terrain park features and equipment.
RECOGNIZING AND ACCEPTING THE ABOVE AND ALL OTHER DANGERS AND RISKS, UNDERSIGNED FREELY ACCEPT AND FULLY
ASSUME ALL DANGERS AND RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH EACH ACTIVITY, USING THE RESORT, USING INDOOR WOODWARD FACILITIES
AND ALL FREESTYLE TERRAIN INCLUDING TERRAIN PARKS, AND THE POSSIBILITY OF LOSS, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH
RESULTING THEREFROM AND, ADULT VOLUNTARILY CHOOSES TO TAKE PART IN THE ACTIVITY OR VOLUNTARILY CHOOSES TO
ALLOW
MINOR
TO
TAKE
PART
IN
THE
ACTIVITY.
By signing this Agreement Adult on his/her own behalf and, if applicable, on behalf of Minor acknowledges the dangers and risks
associated with any Activity and the use of Resort facilities generally and, as a condition to Participant participating in any Activity, Adult
hereby (1) ASSUMES ANY AND ALL RISKS OF INJURY OR DEATH to Participant while or as a result of participating in any Activity; (2)
WAIVES, RELEASES, and AGREES NOT SUE, MAKE ANY CLAIMS OR FILE ANY ACTIONS against Powdr-Copper Mountain LLC, PowdrWoodward PA LLC, Copper Mountain Resort Association, the United States, The Village at Copper Association, Inc., and the owner and
responsible party of any property visited during offsite field trips, each of their parent companies, insurance carriers, subsidiaries,
affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, members, representatives, assignees, employees, volunteers and agents, as well as any
Activity sponsors and equipment manufacturers and distributors (collectively, the "Indemnified Parties") that are based on, arise or result
from, in whole or in part, participation in any Activity; (3) AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND HOLD THE INDEMNIFIED PARTIES
HARMLESS from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, losses or liabilities whatsoever arising from or related to
participation in any Activity and any loss, damage or injury, including death, that may be sustained by Participant or caused to others or
their property by Participant. Undersigned agree to pay all costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees and disbursements, incurred by any
Indemnified Party in defending an investigation, claim or suit brought by, on behalf of, or as a result of Undersigned.
Undersigned gives Resort or any third party authorized by Resort, including, without limitation, any sponsors of the Resort, permission to take and
use photographs, video recordings, or movies of Participant taken during an Activity for any purpose in promoting the Resort or Resort activities in
print, brochures, advertisements, films or videos and on broadcast presentations of any sort. Undersigned further agrees and provides permission for
Woodward and Copper to copy and retain any photos, video, voice, film, or any other digital media resulting from the Woodward Digital Media
Programs.
In partial consideration for accessing Resort facilities and participating in any Activity, Adult agrees for him/herself and MINOR that ALL claims
arising from or related to any Activity, including for injury to person or property and/or death is GOVERNED BY COLORADO LAW, without regard
to conflicts of law principles, and that EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION is in the Summit County District Court or in Federal Court for the District
of Colorado. UNDERSIGNED VOLUNTARILY AND IRREVOCABLY WAIVE ANY OBJECTION TO SUCH LAW AND JURISDICTION.
This Agreement is binding to the fullest extent permitted by law. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms
are enforceable. UNDERSIGNED PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN REPRESENTS AND ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE IS ENTITLED TO
AND IS SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF MINOR AND THAT MINOR IS BOUND BY ALL THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
UNDERSIGNED UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT IF THIS AGREEMENT IS NOT SIGNED ON BEHALF OF MINOR, MINOR WILL NOT BE
PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY ACTIVITY. This Agreement is binding upon Undersigneds' assignees, subrogors, distributors, heirs, next of
kin, executors and personal representatives.
pg. 10
Adult warrants that the Participant has the skills, dexterity and endurance to safely participate in each Activity AND WILL AT ALL TIMES
PARTICIPATE WITHIN HIS/HER ABILITIES and there are no special problems with the care of Participant that have not been
disclosed in writing to Resort. Undersigned authorize the Released Parties and/or their authorized personnel to provide
treatment and/or call for medical care for Participant and/or to transport Participant to a medical facility or hospital if, in the
opinion of such personnel, medical attention is needed. Undersigned agree to pay all costs associated with such medical

CONTACTING CAMPERS (for campers under the age of 18)
We recommend that campers arrive with a phone card or cell phone. We encourage campers to call home
during the afternoon of the second day, as we have found this helps to prevent homesickness. Please keep
conversations upbeat and positive by focusing on coaching sessions and recreational activities. In the event of
an emergency, Woodward Copper Summer Camp may be reached on the following phone numbers:

Camper’s Name, Room #______
The E.D.G.E. – Woodward Copper
50 Beeler Place
Copper Mountain, CO 80443
*USPS or FedEx Smartpost are NOT accepted shipment options.
*Please note that when sending a package it is a good idea to send express 2-3 day shipping to ensure your
camper receives their package before they leave camp. If your package/mail isn’t sent early in the week, it is
not guaranteed to get to your camper when they are at camp & returning it can take weeks.
Visiting Camp
We enforce a strict “No Strangers” policy and requires all visitors to check-in with our camp office, which is
located in The E.D.G.E. prior to visiting a camper. We encourage Day Campers and family members of
campers to stay at Copper Mountain, and offer special lodging rates when booking through reservations 888350-1544. Recommended visiting hours are from 5pm to 9pm.
Stay-over Campers
We have special weekend instructional and recreational programs for campers staying multiple weeks. These
include Barn sessions, and Copper Mountain recreational activities. Stay-over campers are subject to the
Summer Camp Additional Day/Night fee of $149 per day or night. Be sure to plan for spending money as
appropriate.

HOMESICKNESS (for campers under the age of 18)
Many people, young and old, experience feelings of homesickness when faced with a new set of living
conditions. Like many emotional expressions, homesickness is very contagious and must be recognized as such.
Our staff is trained to handle these problems. Should a camper call and express feelings of homesickness, please
notify us and we will work closely with you to alleviate the problem.
Sleep-away camp offers an excellent opportunity for campers to learn how well they can manage without their
parents and that other adults care about them. It has been our experience that it is more often the parents that are
having a difficult time adjusting to their camper’s absence or overreacting to a camper’s early anxiety at being
away from home. Check your own feelings about having a camper gone for an extended period of time. If you
are not ready yourself, you may unwittingly make it difficult for your child to be away from you, consequently
spurring feelings of guilt or feelings that he or she doesn’t have permission to enjoy him or herself outside your
view. Understandably, parents may feel helpless when they hear their child upset over the phone. Resist the
urge to make promises about picking your child up or visiting. A visit from home interrupts their day, takes
their attention from new friends and fun activities, and often spawns or exasperates homesickness.
For more information on homesickness, we recommend reviewing Dr. Chris Thurber’s work at
www.campspirit.com.
MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES
Woodward Copper campers are required to have medical insurance. All campers MUST complete and sign (if
under the age of 18 a parent or legal guardian 18 and older must sign) the enclosed Woodward Copper
Participant Release (pg 9), which acknowledges the “consent to treat.” This document must be returned to
camp no later than May 2, 2016.
Woodward Copper will have Ski Patrol coverage on snow to assess injuries in the Central summer Terrain Park,
as well as Athletic Trainers in the Barn to assess injuries in the training facility. The majority of injuries will be
cared for in the Woodward Copper training room by the camp Athletic Trainers. In the event of a serious injury
911 will be called and the parent or legal guardian of campers under the age of 18 will be notified immediately.
The nearest Emergency Room is located in Frisco, Colorado, which is about 15 minutes away from camp.
Campers with pre-existing injuries or prescription medication should include this information, and any special
instructions on the enclosed Camper Medical Information Form (pg 4). Prescription medication must be in its
original container with the name of medication, dosage, frequency, condition being treated, physician’s
signature, and DEA number. This information must be filled out and returned no later than May 2, 2016.
If medications need to be re-filled while your camper is at camp, a written order by the prescribing practitioner
must be dropped off with the nurse upon check-in with the following information: the Child’s name, Licensed
prescribing practitioner name, telephone #, & signature, Date authorized, Name of medication & dosage, Time
of day medication is to be given, Route of medication, Length of time the medication is to be given, Reason for
medication (unless confidential), Side effects or reactions to watch out for, and any Special instructions.
Upon check-in, medications will be dropped off with the camp nurse by a responsible adult. Children are not
allowed to bring medications to camp. If medication is out-of-date or left over, parents are responsible for
picking up the medication. If no picked up, the medication will be properly disposed.

SPENDING MONEY (for campers under the age of 18)
Make sure to think about spending money prior to camp. Campers typically spend $50-$1,000 per week and
sometimes more on snacks and souvenirs like Woodward t-shirts ($20-35), hats ($20-30), hoodies ($50-70),
sunglasses ($10-$200), Create-A-Skate ($40), skate decks ($100-$150), and lots more. Remember if your
camper is flying in and flying out make sure to set aside cash for baggage fees, unaccompanied minor fees, or
prepay for these Airline services in advance.
Cash Bank Account
We have a safe and secure cash bank system set up at camp. Campers will be able to keep any cash he/she
brings with them in our safe that is located at the WW Cage. We put the cash into an envelope and keep track of
every withdrawal, as well as the camper’s bank total. The cash bank is deposited during camp check-in at the
E.D.G.E. and is the best option for campers to have spending money.
*EDGE Housing Vending Machines are very popular at night. It is recommended to send small bills and
quarters with your camper for evening snacks in their rooms. Change is not always available.
*There are onsite ATMs for cash withdrawal using debit cards.
Camper Store Credit
Campers also have the option of store credit that is valid at any Woodward Copper location; including
Woodward Copper’s Camp Store, as well as several Copper owned retail outlets. Campers cannot use the store
credit card at restaurants, non-Copper shops, or the vending machines. Parents can set any maximum spend
amount and enjoy the flexibility of being able to increase spending limits with a phone call. They can also rest
easy as the remaining balance of the camper’s store credit will be refunded at the end of each camp week or by
August 5, 2016 at the latest. Please complete and return the enclosed Camper Store Credit form (pg 13) if
you wish to provide this information. For a faster Camp check in process, please fill out this form and send to
our offices prior to arrival. Please note that the Camp Store Credit account does not have a cash back
option.
Meals and Snacks
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included with all camp options and have no additional fees.
Breakfast is served 7:30am – 8:30am
Lunch is served 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Dinner is served 5:00pm – 6:00pm
For a full menu of each meal, you may visit http://www.woodwardcopper.com/start-here/general/food.
If your camper is hungry outside of these meal times, he/she can purchase snacks at the Barn, Cage, or out of
the vending machines. The Barn & Cage will accept the Camper Store Credit cards; however, vending machines
only accept cash & change. It is highly recommended to send your camper with snacks to keep in his/her room.
TIPS
Tips for your camper’s coaches and counselors are encouraged. Please note that the coaches & counselors are
two different Woodward Staff who will be with your camper at different times throughout the day. If you wish
to leave a tip for your camper’s coach, counselor, or both, you will have the opportunity to do so at check-out
with the logistics team. This will ensure your tip gets to the right staff member.
