I sold my place and Lisa has put hers on the market (see page 35). Together we have bought a home in Broken Arrow. At our new home we now have a large office space for the Rag. With this move we will be adding new colleagues to our OKLAHOMA BIKER the Riders Ragazine staff. We are now officially circulating the Rag on the 15th of each month. We decided to do this because the other free Oklahoma magazines come out near the 1st of every month. Coming out on the 15th allows us to provide you different content than the others . My thinking is we can provide a better rag to our readers and advertisers using this monthly schedule. We will continue to do it at least for the rest of the year. Your comments regarding this schedule are very much appreciated. We look forward to seeing you in the wind ! Remember to hug those you love. It may be the last time you get the chance. Kelly you will be missed by us all. Psyco my love and best wishes are with you. If Tomorrow Never Comes If tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand, That an angel came and called my name, And took me by the hand, And said my place was ready, In heaven far above, And that I’d have to leave behind; All those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, A tear fell from my eye, For all my life, I’d always thought, I didn’t want to die. I had so much to live for, So much left yet to do, It seemed almost impossible, That I was leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays, The good ones and the bad, I thought of all the love we shared, And all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, Just even for a while, I’d say good-bye and kiss you, And maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized, That this could never be, For emptiness and memories, Would take the place of me. And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow, I thought of you, And when I did, My heart was filled with sorrow. But when I walked through heaven’s gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at me, From His great golden throne, He said, “This is eternity, And all I’ve promised you.” Today your life on earth is past, But here life starts anew. I promise no tomorrow, But today will always last, And since each day’s the same way, There’s no longing for the past. You have been so faithful, So trusting and so true. Though there were times you did some things, You knew you shouldn’t do. But you have been forgiven, And now at last you’re free. So won’t you come and take my hand, and share my life with me? So when tomorrow starts without me, Don’t think we’re far apart. For every time you think of me, I’m right here in your heart. 4 OKLAHOMA BIKER RAG 5 OKLAHOMA BIKER RAG Talkin’ Trash & Talkin’ Back.....................………3 Happy Mothers Day ...................................... 3 The Wrecking Crew....................................…..4 Inked………………....................................….6 - 7 Dusty’sTavern ............. ...................................…8 Newbees………………..................................…9 Ed’s Birthday Party......................................10-11 Handlebars & Hot Rods....................…….…12 Bobby’s Bobber...............................................13 Tanked…………..................................………15 Rocklahoma ..............................................16-17 Echoes…….................................…18 Swept Off the Floor.............................………19 Chelsea Charms .........................................20-21 Arrowhead ....................................................22 Twin Cam For Sale ...........................................23 Back Street Bikes .........................................25 MDABAD RUN .................................................26 Booger John Grand Opening .............................29 What’s Happenin’……................................30 Mayor Taylor....................................................32 Country Home..................................................35 Ben Miller Band.............................................36 You Ain’t Funny…............................................38 ECHOES CORRECTION Due to technical errors in last month’s Rag there was a problem with the Echoes Page. It should have read: ROGER DALE “E-Z” WILLARD July 27, 1957 – May 18, 2007 Put a bird feeder in your yard and fill it with bird seed. It doesn’t take long before the birds learn that a free meal is in the offing. They come by the hundreds. Now, empty the feeder. What happens? No more birds. Take away the free medical care. Take away the free schooling. Take away the free welfare. Take away the jobs. What happens? No more illegal immigrants. What a simple solution! One of my favorite local bands, Sweatin’ Bullets, was playing. They had a wet t-shirt contest earlier in the evening; however, we missed that. Stop by and say Hi to Teena when you are in the area. Also be sure to check out Booger John’s motorsickle shop in Claremore. OKLAHOMA BIKER RAG OKLAHOMA BIKER RAG 9 10 OKLAHOMA BIKER RAG ED’S BIRTHDAY BASH 2007 One July 29th we celebrated Ed’s Birthday at the Hurricane Lounge located at 3216 E. 11th in Tulsa. No one really knows how old Ed is because there wasn’t enough fingers and toes in the Hurricane to count that high. Trena put out a helluva feast, and the Bluehemians rocked the place. As always, it was a great time at the Hurricane! Happy Birthday Ed, and thank you for being the very first advertiser in this Rag. Why are bikers now being ticketed in the Brookside area? We understand abusive riders deserve to be ticketed for twisting their throttles in residential areas. However we do know that loud pipes save bikers’ lives! The band iterally plays hillbilly instruments, i.e., a washtub with a broom handle sticking out with a rope attached and a scrub board. These folks rock! Hopefully we will see them at some local upcoming rallies. They can be reached at 417.439.0331 or www.benmillerband.com OKLAHOMA BIKER RAG 37 38 If you think you’reBIKER funny sendRAG us your OKLAHOMA best gut grabbin’ grinner to: [email protected] There was this church that had a very big breasted organist. Her breasts were so huge that they bounced and jiggled while she played distracting the congregation noticeably. The very proper church ladies were appalled - something had to be done about them or they would have to get another organist. One of the ladies approached her very discreetly and told her to put alum on them and maybe they would shrink in size. She agreed to try it. The following Sunday morning the minister stood up in the pulpit and said, “Dew to thircumsthanthis bewond my contwol , we will not hath a thermon today.” “I don’t know how to fix it. Maybe it will help if we pray.” ly OCIB on 0 l 2 $ al d r en o f ek e w Biker Park, USA (neutral ground) Pawhuska, OK (Hwy 60 & 99) NO PETS GLASS FIREARMS ATTITUDES Budweiser — Food — Games — Live Music — Camping under 18 admitted WITH Parent INFO: NELSON CARTER 918.287.3249 (10-4)
