When we first decided to bring famed
Easyrider photographer, Darryl Briggs,
to Tulsa we didn’t realize how much
confusion it might cause. Our goal was
to improve the photography skills of
our photojournalists. We chose to open
the seminar to the public, so we could
offset the cost of the models Darryl is
bringing with him. Trinity Motorcycles,
located at 97th and Memorial in Tulsa,
offered us the use of their building
and choppers for the Photographic
Seminar.
The cost of the seminar is only $99.00.
It begins at 1 pm on Saturday, October
18th. You will learn how to take
photographs of beautiful women and
custom motorcycles. Darryl will stress
5
the nuances of lighting, etc. in this
seminar. Not only will you get to meet
the models featured in Darryl Briggs’s
work, you will also have the opportunity
to photograph them on motorcycles!
After the seminar, Blues City which
is located at 3156 S Mingo Road in
Tulsa, will host the After Party of the
Photography Seminar. Participants will
receive food and drink discounts at the
party. There will also be live music by
Judge Parker. Anyone wishing to meet
beautiful models, or models wishing
to meet professional photographers,
should plan on attending this party.
Oklahoma Biker the Riders Ragazine
will be interviewing photographers and
models after the seminar to work with
the rag. We are specifically looking for
photographers to take pictures for our
new website. We will also hire models
to appear in our advertisers’ ads, and
to model our tee shirts, leathers, etc. at
runs, rallies, and events.
This will be an exciting and fun filled
event. If you have ever dreamed of
becoming a photographer or a model
don’t miss this seminar. For more
information go to www.oklahomabiker.
net or www.darrylbriggs.com. We are
looking forward to seeing you there!

Tears in the Wind,
Cause I lost my best friend,
I pray that some day I will see her again,
I still hear her laughing and my heart is in denial,
So I just ride a little further and fake a smile.
Lost in grief, I roll down the road
Hoping to fill this void
In my broken Soul.
As the wind dries my tears
and blows away my fears,
I shift threw the gears
and remember the years.
My wife is gone
and even though I must move on
she has still been riding with me
all along.

MARK ASBURY
On August 11th, 2008 a
motorcycle rider and racer was

Mark Asbury was traveling at 40
mph on the way to work when
a car pulled out from a parking
lot. He struck the side of the car
and flip over the roof landing
in the median of the street. He
suffered 8 fractures to the pelvis,
a broken leg, a broken wrist, and
a lacerated testicle. He is now in
rehab recovering. He will not be
able to walk for 3 months. He
has insurance but he is not able
to work so he has no income to
pay current bills. If you would

G - Y - NOT: Custom Colors by Tony Gilbert
My name is Tony Gilbert. G-Y-NOT is my logo, which is
my name backwards. I painted airbrush tee shirts for 16
years. About a year ago with
influence and pressure
from friends I
finally tried
painting on
metal. I
painted
my first
motorcycle
helmet and since have done several
Helmets and Hard Hats. Recently I just
finished my second Motorcycle (orange w/
flames). Now I am kicking myself in the ass
for being so scared of painting bikes and stuff
for years. Now I’m like’n shiny!
