✌
Swimming in Kavourotrypes is a unique experience
(Sithonia, on the way to Sarti). Bights, caves, white
rocks, and crystal waters, combine to create a
heavenly landscape.
After N. Marmaras, look for the signpost that points
to Tristinika beach. Deep blue sea, coarse sand,
deep clear waters and a chilled atmosphere that
underlines the bohemian side of Chalkidiki.

In taverns of Agia Paraskevi, almost at the end of
the first leg, you will discover a fisherman’s heaven.
Lobsters, swordfish, blue fish and melanouri fish (of
the bream variety) fantastically prepared and
appropriately served. Porto Koufo as well, on the
second leg, is renowned for its fish served in any of
the port taverns.

Music, dance and all night happenings on the
beach. Chalkidiki’s beach bars give a new dimension
to your summer holidays. Try “Goa” between Sarti
and Sykia, “Ethnic” in Tristinika and “Sirokos” in the
coast of Salonikiou.

8. CLUBBING IN KALLITHEA
Where the heart of nightlife beats. Style and
elegance in huge clubs and bars that satisfy the
tastes of the socialites and many others.
500 kilometres of coastline,
40 blue flag beaches, busy
sea sides as well as quiet
and remote ones, Chalkidiki’s
beaches will not leave
anyone unsatisfied.
Starting from the first leg, Kassandra,
our first stop is the sea side of Nea
Kallikrateia. The large, organised
beach in front of the village which
shares the same name, hosts
restaurants and bars and is suitable for
water sports. The situation is similar
for nearby Flogita and Nea Plagia. A
bit further down is the beach of
Dionisiou, a vast stretch of sand that
extends as far as N. Moudania. On the
front of Agios Mamas you will find the
beach of the same name, relatively
organised, that extends for many
kilometres. On the coast of Sani you
will find a few smaller beaches around
the Stavronikitas Tower. The former

fishing port of Siviri is today a holiday
resort built around a beautiful sandy
beach with restaurants and bars. One
of the most popular beaches for the
visitors of Chalkidiki is Skala below the
village of Fourka. Near the cape of
Kassandra Poseidi beach is situated;
endless and crystal clear with
restaurants, bars and also suitable for
water sports. Mount Olympos is visible
right across in the horizon and offers
an impressive view. Continuing the
walk along the coast we meet the
beach of Mola Kalyva. White sand
and the pine forest of Kassandra as its
backdrop. We come across a different
picture in Nea Skioni beach which is
just on the front of the village with the
same name and is completely organised.
Just outside the village of Agia
Paraskevi you will find a quiet beach
right next to spa baths. And a little after
the cape of Paliouri, you can find
Chrousso beach. An idyllic sandy beach
with pine trees that hosts hotels,
restaurants and bars. At Glarokavos
cape there is an enormous beach, one of
the most beautiful in Kassandra, with
sand and fine gravel.
Further down our journey Pefkohori
and Chanioti beaches spread in front of
the two homonymous resorts and
include restaurants, bars as well as being
suitable for all kinds of water sports. At
the village of Kryopigi you will find
Pigadakia beach with its fine sand,
turquoise waters and a canteen. Another
beach that is suitable for water sports.
Kallithea beach is in front of the
homonymous resort. This is the starting
point for the swim crossing of Toronaios
bay. We also find small, sandy beaches
in the villages of Afytos and Nea
Fokaia.
Beginning our expedition through the
second leg (Sithonia) you will meet the
first large organised beach in the
location of Skala Gerakinis. A bit
further, there is Kalyves, Mikiverna and
Psakoudia, beautiful, small beaches
near holiday resorts. Metamorfosi is
blooming with pine trees, a wonderful
climate and idyllic small bights with fine
sand and amazing sunsets. A bit more
south is Nikiti, a large organised beach
with restaurants and bars that is suitable
for water sports. At Ai-giannis beach
you will be impressed by the massive
sandy beach and its crystal clear waters.
Kalogria, Spathies, Elia and Perigiali
are ideal choices for those who are
looking for a quiet, remote beach. In
Neos Marmaras you will swim at the
beach that is located to the left of the
village, where you can also find
restaurants and bars. On the beaches of
Neos Marmaras you will discover small
bays with fine white sand, pine trees
and crystal clear waters. In the town as
well as the greater area of Neos
Marmaras there are restaurants and bars
and the potential for all water sports.
Tristinika, Azapiko and Aretes, even
though they are immensely beautiful
beaches, they are hardly developed.
The same can be said for Ampelos
which is situated at an impressive
location where a narrow line of the sea
enters into the steep mountain slopes.
Continuing you will find Kalamitsi, an
amazing beach with fine white sand,
surrounded by grey rocks in the most
impressive shapes. Kriaritsi, Klimataria,
Linaraki, Valti and Platanitsi, are
beaches of extraordinary beauty. In the
village of Sarti you will find a vast sandy
beach with restaurants, bars and coffee
shops. In the area of Kavourotripes you
will come across a hidden lace-like
pattern of small, white beaches,
turquoise waters, rocks sculpted by the
waves, and thick pine trees that reach
the seafront. Further to the north
Armenistis beach is awaiting. Exotic
atmosphere with bright, white sand,
planes and eucalyptus trees as well as
organised water sports facilities. Next,
the route will reveal to you the beaches
of Zografou, Koutloumousi, Karidi
and the peculiar Livari with its small
lagoon. There is a different atmosphere
in Ormos Panagias, where restaurants
and coffee shops spread across the
sandy beach near the houses of the
resort. This is the starting point for the
cruises to Mount Athos. Continuing the
excursion, you will discover the remote
beaches Trani Ammouda, Livrohio,
Salonikiou. Similar is the mood in the
beaches Kampos and Pyrgos, past the
resort of Pyrgadikia.
At the Athonian peninsula you will swim
at the organized beaches of
Ouranoupoli and Ierissos as well as the
small beaches that spread along the
coastline of Ammouliani.
Relax in the thalassotherapy and spa centres which
you can find in many hotel resorts in Chalkidiki,
discover the secrets of golf in the international
standards golf court of the N. Marmaras area, dine in
one of the gourmet restaurants in the luxurious
hotel units of the area or book a suite for you and
your friends enjoying unique service privileges.
