EPSI-UAB MASTERS IN CRIMINALISTICS 2011 DECLARED
“A TRIBUTE TO THE
INTERNATIONAL POLICE ASSOCIATION
AND THE
NATIONAL POLICE CORP’S SCIENTIFIC DEPARTMENT”
The UAB Masters in Criminalistics
joined in with the 50th Anniversary
IPA Spanish Section. We would also
like to offer our thanks for the support
and participation given to us by the
chairpersons and representatives of the
contributing organizations, for example: ADPCI (Association of Qualified and
Professional Criminologist and Investigators), ANCREF (National Asso-ciation of
Criminologists and Forensic Science
Experts), ANTUD, AGC, APPCC, The Pro-
fessional Association of Asturias, The
National Association of Intellectual and
Industrial Property Experts, and the
Institute of Handwriting Psychology, all
of which are also contributors to and
members of the ICG (Institute of
Graphological Sciences), which is a
member of the institutional board of
professors and directors of forensic
science laboratories and the organisation
of criminologists and legal experts from
the schools of legal practice, doctorate
and postgraduate in Catalonia.
Likewise the Directors of the Masters in
Criminology have also participated in
the celebrations in Barcelona: Scientific
Department’s Centenary celebrations, to
which the directors of the Masters and
the EPSI-UAB (School of Prevention and
Integral
Safety
and
SecurityAutonomous University of Barcelona)
were also invited. In addition to these
celebrations, the National Police Corps
has played a special role in the UAB
study programme, the current course of
which has been declared a tribute to the
International Police Association and the
National Police Corps’s Scientific
Department.

For this reason, the
directors also participated
in several joint activities
with the university and
also with the IPA
(International Police
Association) — another
organisation contributing
to these studies.
