Welcome to Imagine Housing’s 21st Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction!
We are glad that you have joined us and are confident that you will
have a memorable evening. Your presence makes you part of a growing
community of dedicated supporters who want the Eastside to be full
of opportunity and inclusive for everyone. This evening is a celebration
of what has been accomplished with a look at the work which still lies
ahead. Thank you for joining us!
With the accomplishments of 2014 behind us, we have a great deal to
celebrate. This past fall, our new community – Velocity – opened next
to the South Kirkland Park & Ride. Within two months, all 58 brand new
homes were filled with families and individuals who simply could not
afford a market rate home on the Eastside. Many of these families were
previously homeless; others had to commute great distances to get to
work; all were excited to call Velocity their new home. Your support and
generosity made this possible.
Along with the joy of providing this new community, came the
realization that over 400 other applicants did not get a home. In fact,
our current waiting lists show more than 3,200 households waiting for
one of our 485 units across the Eastside. This is what drives us to push
forward. It is not acceptable that so many cannot afford a place to live.
This past December, the Imagine Housing team completed a bold new
five year strategic plan. This plan includes specific goals to double our
housing units, ensure that our properties are “communities of choice,”
and deliver comprehensive services to help residents with health,
wellness, and vitality. Once these goals are achieved, we will be much
closer to realizing our vision of an Eastside with interconnected and
welcoming communities where all people can live, learn, work, and play.
Thank you for being here tonight. Words cannot express how important
your support is to us and to the long term health and vibrancy of our
community.
Sincerely,

A Very Special Thank You
It takes a team of individuals to plan and host an
Auction! Imagine Housing is fortunate to have a
wonderful team of friends and family who have
dedicated their time and expertise to make tonight a
success:
Thank You to The Grape Choice!
The complimentary wines offered during tonight’s Silent Auction were
made possible through Kirkland’s wine merchant: The Grape Choice.
Many thanks to Larry Springer and Penny Sweet for their continued

This fine Spanish sparkling wine is made using
the traditional method, in which the secondary
fermentation producing a sparkling wine’s
bubbles occurs in the bottle. Its fresh, toasty
nose, beautiful citrus, green apple and mineral
flavors, supple, lively mouth-feel, and clean,
crisp finish make it the ultimate celebratory
wine.
Diversion Majestic Red
This wine’s notes are full, long and juicy with
the perfect balance of blackberry, cassis and
dark fruit. The blend is 48.9% Cabernet
Sauvignon, 39.3% Merlot, 6.8% Malbec and
2.5% Petit Verdot.
Diversion Chardonnay
This hand-crafted wine is a mingling of caramel
and pear. It has a round, lengthy finish with
bright acidity, truly capturing the elegance of
the grape.

Auction Protocol
Auction Protocol, cont’d
• E
ach guest will be given a “giving” (bid) number upon arrival.
This number is your only means of identification for bidding;
please keep it throughout the evening.
• If you are the successful bidder, please pick up your items
after the Live Auction. All items must be removed from The
Meydenbauer at the close of the Auction.
• A
signature or verbal bid during the Auction constitutes a
legal contract to buy. All sales are final and there will be no
exchanges or refunds. In all cases of dispute, the decision of
Imagine Housing is final.
• P
ayment must be made in full on the evening of the Auction;
cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa and American Express will be
accepted.
• P
lease pay attention to all conditions, restrictions, and
expiration dates on items and services. Except where noted by
the donor, services, tickets, certificate items, etc. must be used
within one year of the Auction and are subject to mutually
agreed upon times and dates.
• No refunds will be made for cancelled tickets and
accommodations.
• Imagine Housing reserves the right to withdraw any item for
sale prior to the call for bids.
• P
lease write your “giving” number and name on the sheet
associated with each Silent Auction item you want to bid on.
If an entry is illegible, the next legible entry will be used.
• T
he amount listed on the top line of each bid sheet is the
minimum bid. Items may be bid up from that amount by
increments noted on each bid sheet. A bidder must meet
or exceed the minimum bid and must bid by the proper
increment to win that item.
• E
xcept for “priceless” items, bidders may guarantee a
successful purchase if they are willing to pay the item’s
guaranteed bid price. To achieve this, enter your bid number
on the bottom line of the bid sheet, circle the guaranteed bid
price, and sign the sheet.
• F
ollowing the closing of a Silent Auction table, you may check
to determine if you are the successful bidder of an item.
However, please do not remove the item or any part of the bid
sheet at that time.

• L
ooking for shorter lines? This year we are continuing the
“express” check-in/check-out process. At check-in, you may
elect to have us swipe your credit card. At check-out, you
simply pick up your items and you’re good to go!
Warranties
Imagine Housing has attempted to catalog and describe each
Auction item correctly based on information provided by the
donor. However, all items are sold “as is, where is.” Imagine
Housing neither warrants nor represents, and in no case shall
be responsible for, the correctness, descriptions, genuineness,
authorship, provenance, or condition of any of the Auction
items. No statement contained in the catalog or made orally
at the Auction or elsewhere shall be deemed to be such a
representation or warranty.
Tax Deductibility
The amount of the purchase of an Auction item that is deductible
for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of the
purchase price of the Auction item over the fair market value of
the item. Where possible, Imagine Housing has asked donors to
provide a good faith estimate of the fair market value of each
Auction item. Unless otherwise noted in the catalog, no Auction
item has been formally appraised in arriving at the estimate
of fair market value. Please consult your tax advisor with any
questions you may have regarding your ability to take a tax
deduction.

Signed Magnum of 2012
Quilceda Creek Cabernet
Sauvignon
For several years, Quilceda Creek has been considered by many to be
one of the top wineries in the country or world, not just in Washington
State. This is a hard-to-get wine because the winery’s mailing list is
closed, and there is a waiting list to get on the mailing list. Quilceda
Creek Vintners is a long-time supporter of the Imagine Housing Auction.
This year, the winery has donated a signed magnum (1.5L) of 2012
Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley, the most recent of
a spectacular line of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Victoria Get-Away
Just across the border, history and elegance are preserved in the
energetic Canadian city of Victoria in beautiful British Columbia. This
provincial capital is a short 45 minute scenic flight on Seattle’s premier
seaplane operator, Kenmore Air. Kenmore Air and the Fairmont Empress
Hotel are pleased to support Imagine Housing with a round-trip airfare
for two and two night’s accommodation at the majestic Fairmont
Empress. With stunning views of the Olympic Mountains, award winning
West Coast cuisine, and the city’s renowned sites and experiences, you’ll
soon discover there’s much to see and do in Victoria.
Expires March 31, 2016. Valid for two people.

Salmon Dinner
All salmon are not created equal...enjoy a ‘flight’ of varied species over
an evening filled with fun, delicious food, and libation! Dan Johnson is
a consummate fisherman and has agreed to spend countless hours out
on the water this year to catch just the perfect salmon for you and five
other guests (total of three couples).
The evening will be hosted by the Johnsons and Ferrises at the Ferris
home in Bellevue, WA. The date and time to be determined by the hosts
and lucky guests, hopefully on the Ferris’ backyard patio during the

2044 Wine Barrel Side Tables
A retired oak barrel has been transformed into two beautiful
side tables. Each table shows off the natural elegance of the
once used wine barrel and fit well with any décor. Making a
true one of a kind piece, the tables remain naturally red wine
stained and are hand stained on the exterior of the barrel to
show off more of the character of the oak. Each table comes
with a custom cut glass top.
