musical performers in Uzbekistan, Karen and his 8 piece ensemble make a
special appearance at Dreamtime. Mixing tradition instruments with cutting
edge modern sounds, dancing and musical virtuosity, Karen says, “My main
purpose and target for participating in the festival … is to share knowledge and
experience, through which I will be able not only to provide representatives of
other cultures with samples of our musical heritage but as well to bring home
the unique knowledge about theirs.”

Dreamtime! Please bring a scarf to cover your eyes and a pillow or blanket if
needed. Led by Lauraleigh.
X 2:30 - 4:30 Desert Flow-ers: Intermediate Poi Dance (Main Stage) If you already have a
lot of sweet flows and want to explore new forms of creative expression, this is
the workshop for you! We will find new movement patterns, build on what you
know by adding beats, wraps, and body stalls, and play a lot behind the back,
through the legs, and over the head. Practice poi provided. Led by Christina
Stout.

X 4:30 - 6:45 Contact Improvisation (Spirit Basin) Learn how to roll with the point of
physical contact with others, and expand your sense of self in time and space.

L 7:00 Opening Procession (Spirit Basin) Gather at 7:00
at Spirit Basin workshop
area. The procession will depart at 7:30 spiraling toward the main stage. This is
a ceremonial gathering and bringing of the energy to the center of Dreamtime.
Come as you are or in costume with banners, offerings, instruments and love.

through the universe into realms of imagination and mystery, and realize our
potential as creative beings.

guitarist and flutist Aaron White, guitarist/bassist Gary Rasmussen and
drummer Ed Michaels. Their music is a rock oriented sound flavored by
contemporary Native American life in America.

DJ Matt Kays (Vaudeville) Bringing a deep, funky, tribal, psychedelic
vibe, DJ Matt Kays grounds you with the beat while reaching toward the heights
through meditation, dance, and social interaction.

words, power, and sound. LionVibes' musical style ranges from Roots to
Dancehall Reggae with major influences of Funk, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Rock...&

Buddha Bomb (Main Stage) Spinning Chill, Ambient, IDM, Old
School, and other forms of Electronic Music. Buddha is Formless, representing
space, allowing all possibilities to occur. Bomb is Form, action, motion, spice,

bodies, and souls for the weekend to come.
