Our services.
We provide a 7-day waste collection service throughout the North West.
Our vehicles are equipped to capture data from EVERY container we empty
and record both weight and volume electronically. This information is then
used to generate Environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
If you operate to ISO 14001, or a similar management system, our reports
will assist your compliance with the standard.
 Gaskells’ recycling service will enable you to save money, protect the
environment and reduce your carbon footprint. Full traceability is
guaranteed with our unique recycling performance reports.
 We can help you to comply with the requirements of Site Waste Management
Plan legislation by tracking the re-use, recycling or disposal of your waste.
 We collect hazardous waste, waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE) and asbestos. We also offer other specialist services.
 We provide separate collections for glass, paper & cardboard, scrap
metal and wood.

A comprehensive free waste audit carried out by our highly experienced staff
will identify your needs so that we can design the most cost-effective solution
for you — including maximising any opportunities for waste reduction, re-use
and recycling.
 Trade Waste containers from pre-paid bin bags to wheeled containers
and FELs up to 10cu yards capacity.
 Builders skips in a full range of sizes for construction, commercial
or domestic use.
 Roll on-Roll off (Ro-Ro) containers (open and closed) in sizes from
20 to 40 cu yards.
 Compactors for high volumes of waste. Reduce waste volumes before
collection, save on transport costs and make your site safer and more
hygienic.
 Balers cut down on waste disposal costs and generate revenue by baling
recyclable materials.
 Hazardous Waste and WEEE. We identify and assess any hazardous
materials in your waste streams and ensure that hazardous waste is
documented and disposed of in the most cost effective and environmentally
friendly way.
 Scrap Metal. We buy and collect industrial, commercial and domestic scrap metal, ferrous and non-ferrous.

Reduce and recycle waste with Gaskells.
Waste costs money — not only the increasing costs of disposal, but also
because of the value of wasted materials.
Making more efficient use of resources benefits the environment and helps to
reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, so we provide the services that
help our customers to measure and reduce their environmental impact.
We own and operate the largest commercial recycling facility in Liverpool.
Our Materials Recycling Facility pre-treats all the waste we collect. Materials
such as paper & cardboard, metals, plastics, textiles and wood are separated
out and recycled.
Open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, our facility handles over 25,000 vehicle
movements a year, processing more than 70,000 tonnes per year.
Together with the waste we collect, we also accept deliveries of both waste
and recyclable materials from other waste collection companies, our customers
and the public.
We provide customers with exact information on how much waste is being
recycled and where it is going, in order to prove full traceability.

Gaskells’ vehicles.
Our new vehicle fleet is based on the Volvo
chassis, which has a solid reputation for
reliability, dependability, fuel economy and
low emissions.
All our vehicles are fitted with CCTV –
standard reversing cameras and side and
front-mounted CCTV cameras for additional
safety and security.
GPS tracking maximises productivity
and improves customer service levels.
The tracking device is linked into on-board
weighing technology, enabling us to weigh
every bin at every location.
