Meet the Coaches
Head Coach
Dwight Mullins
Philosophy
Mullins began his coaching career in 1998
as Asst. Coach for the Fort Worth Brahmas
(Helped lead the Brahmas to the Western
Professional Hockey League finals). Mullins
also coached the North American Hockey
League’s Texas Tornado to their ninth
consecutive playoff appearance. Most
recently Mullins lead the Allen Americans to
an inaugural season Southern Conference
Championship title.
We provide an on-ice program that creates a FUN and CHALLENGING
environment.
Our program provides young players with a safe and creative environment,
where players are given the resources to learn and build their hockey skills.
Our high instructor-to-student ratio ensures that your child receives the
attention needed to improve and enhance their hockey skills .

Behind the Scenes tour
Location
Asst. Coach
Camp sessions will be held at the Allen Event Center Community Ice Rink
(located at US 75 & Stacy Rd.). Parking is free of charge and parents are
encouraged to park in the South Parking Garage, or drop off in the drive way
right out side the Community Rink doors.
Eligibility
To be eligible to attend the 2010 Allen Americans Summer Hockey Camp, each
player must be between the ages of 6 and 12 prior to the first day of camp.
Each player must also have a COMPLETE set of hockey equipment.
As an Allen Americans camper, you will receive a guided VIP tour of the
Southern Conference Champions Locker Room. Campers are treated to an
opportunity of a lifetime when allowed to relax in the luxurious players lounge
including six 42” Plasma Screen TV’s, and a deluxe home theatre system. On
the final day campers are allowed to dress in the locker of their favorite player,
and walk down the “AMERICANS HALLWAY” towards the rink as if they were
Americans players themselves. This extended, in-depth look behind the scenes at
the Allen Americans is sure to make lasting memories.
Bill McDonald
McDonald brings more than 15 years of
professional coaching experience to the
camp. Throughout his coaching career, he
has led his clubs to six finals appearances,
winning four championships. McDonald was
the Head Coach of the 1997 CHL Champion
Fort Worth Fire that Americans Head
Coach Dwight Mullins served as the Captain.
McDonald was also the Head Coach of the
inaugural season Brahmas, the same team
that Mullins served as the Asst. Coach.
