Magdalena Zárate
Magdalena Zarate, one of the best voices in Mexico according to
specialized press, not only for her beautiful voice of lyric soprano;
but by her passion, style and interpretive honesty, is back with a
new album "Alzar el Vuelo"; and renewed desires to continue her
successful career.

Magdalena confesses "My gift is singing, I accept it with love
and commitment, and I use it as the language of the heart to see
straight in the eyes, and offer a hand like old friends, give a hug or
caress whoever need it; because of love or heartbreak.”

Magdalena Zarate has a outstanding career with participation
and victories at major music festivals of the 80s and 90s in Mexico
and Spain, where she won second place at the International
Festival OTI 1993 in Valencia, Spain; first place in the Festival
Valores Juveniles Bacardi 1982 and won the Festival de
Triunfadores de Valores Bacardi, in 1988; experiences that give
her great confidence and stage presence in concerts and live
performances.

She has 8 studio recordings, and a list of popular singles as
"Carta", "Siempre te amaré" (I Will Always Love You), "Remolino"
and "Me dediqué a perderte", this one in Salsa arrangement;
a musical genre that she confess is another of her passions.

"Alzar el Vuelo", was successfully presented at the Lunario a
hall of the famous National Auditorium of México City in last June.
This new record is not just the return of Magdalena Zarate to
music, but also shares an evolution of her art, from a personal
rediscovery of her passion for singing; delighting audiences on a
musical journey that goes from the bolero, ballads and salsa.
