To open the GIS map: from any page of the County website, point to ‘Quick links’ in the upper right had
corner, then click on GIS. A new screen will come up, click on ‘Click here for the NEW – Mohave County
Interactive Map Viewer’. Read the disclaimer then click on “Launch Map Viewer”.

To Search by a Parcel Number, Owner Name, Street, Address, etc., on GIS:
Click on the option you want to search by.
Example: Click on “Locate by Parcel Number”, enter your parcel number using dashes (xxx-xx-xxx), click
‘OK’. The map will zoom to the parcel.
Example: Click on “Locate by Parcel Owner”, enter the owner’s last name (then first name or initial if
available), click ‘OK’. Select the name from the search results list. The map will zoom to the parcel.

To View Parcel Owner Information for Other Parcels from GIS screen
On the toolbar, click the Identify button . Click on the parcel for which you would like information. The
owner information will be listed to the right of the map.
To Turn on or off layers (Aerial Photos, Lot Dimensions, Sales Info, etc.)
Click the
button, check the box to the left of the layer you would like to turn on or off.
Example: Check the boxes with check marks in them to remove the check marks under High-Res
Orthophotography to turn off the aerial photos.
Example: Click on the folder in front of ‘Recorded Dimensions’, click in the box in front of ‘Recorded
Distance’ to turn on the dimensions.
To View GPS Coordinates
Follow the directions above to locate the parcel. On the toolbar, open the green toolbox . Click the Add XY
location to map button. Click on the screen where you would like the coordinates. Click the circle in front
of the format you want the coordinates to appear on the map and click ‘OK’.
To Print or Save a map
Click the
button. Select the Template size and Scale you want to create using the down arrow next
to each option. You can enter a map title and any notes you would like on the map. Click ‘OK’.
Please Note: You may need to turn the pop-up blocker off for the print function to work on this site.
A message will appear ‘Map created successfully’. Click ‘open map’. From here you can print or save your
maps.
