Procedure for getting into
internship partnership:
• Prepare a matrix of internship
schedule of students to match industry
needs.
• Identify companies.
• Have various Institutes meet with
companies
• Prepare draft MOAs for review of both
parties
• Finalize MOAs.
6
Procedure for managing
partnership:
• Assign interns to companies.
• Monitor interns.
• Get company feedback and evaluate
same.
• Summarize feedback.
• Propose curriculum changes to the
Institute.
Issues and concerns:
• FEU internship hours of 120-300 hours
vs. company requirements of 300-400
hours
• FEU students have other classes to
attend to, but companies want 40 hourweeks from interns
• Feedback system of companies not yet
institutionalized
7
Current Partners:
• Institute of Accounts, Business and
Finance: 37 companies
• Institute of Nursing: with 4,200 junior
and senior students who do internship
– 21 tertiary hospitals (300-bed capacity)
