※ Please read this manual and the following precautions after installing the 3D Monitor ※
◎ The 3D Monitor will not operate to its full potential unless certain requirements are met.
For playing 3D games, Nvidia's graphic card, Forceware Driver (VGA card driver), and 3D Stereo Driver
must be installed(Please install the drivers in the CD provided by Zalman).
Nvidia's graphic card is not necessary for the viewing of other standard 3D videos or 3D photographs.
** Any previously installed NVIDIA Display Drivers and any other graphic card drivers MUST be uninstalled
BEFORE installing ForceWare and 3D Stereo Driver from the CD.
◆ ForceWare, 3D Stereo Driver Installation Method 1 (Normal Installation Method)
※ If the window "NVIDIA Setup Error" is displayed to indicate installation failure, please refer to
Installation Method 2.
1. Run "ForceWare 91.31.exe" from the "ForceWare" folder in the CD provided by Zalman.
2. "NVIDIA Windows XP Display Driver" installation will initiate. Reboot the system after the driver
installation is complete.
3. After rebooting the system, execute "3D Stereo 91.31.exe" from the "3D Stereo Driver" folder in the CD.
4. "NVIDIA Windows XP 3D Stereo Driver" installation will initiate. Reboot the system after the driver
installation is complete.
5. Execute the "Zalman 3D Monitor Patch.reg" file in "3D Stereo Driver" folder.
◆ ForceWare, 3D Stereo Driver Installation Method 2 (Alternate Installation Method)
1. Run "ForceWare 91.31.exe" from the "ForceWare" folder in the CD provided by Zalman.
2. If the "NVIDIA Setup Error" window is output, then click on "OK" and end the installation.
3. The installation has been exited, but a folder named "NVIDIA", containing ForceWare installation files,
has been created in the "C:" drive.
4. Copy the nv4_disp.inf file from the "ForceWare" folder in the CD provided by Zalman and paste it into the
"C:\NVIDIA\Win2kxp\91.31" folder.
5. If a message stating that the same file already exists, then overwrite it.
6. After overwriting it, running "setup.exe" from the applicable folder will lead to successful installation of
ForceWare.
7. After rebooting the system, run "3D Stereo 91.31.exe" from the "3D Stereo Driver" folder in the CD.
8. "NVIDIA Windows XP 3D Stereo Driver" installation will initiate. Reboot the system after the driver
installation is complete.
9. Execute the "Zalman 3D Monitor Patch.reg" file in "3D Stereo Driver" folder.
※ nv4_disp.inf file is the device information file that facilitates driver installation in Windows.
※ Depending on the computer system or user settings, the ForceWare driver files could have been stored on
a folder other than C:\NVIDIA.
◆ 3D Settings Guide
1. Right-click on the Desktop will show a menu. Click on "NVIDIA Control Panel" from the menu.
2. Once NVIDIA Control Panel is initiated, click on "VIEW- Use Classic NVIDIA Control Panel" from the
menu and press OK. (※ 3D Stereo settings cannot be accessed in NVIDIA's new Control Panel UI.
The Classic (previous) Control Panel version must be selected.
3. Right-click on the Desktop again to reopen the menu. Click on "NVIDIA Display → ZM-M190".
(The displayed model name(ZM-M190) can vary depending on the monitor model)
4. Check on NVIDIA Geforce XXXX, and also check on the left sub-menu.
5. Click on Stereo Properties from the left sub-menu.
6. From Stereo Properties menu,
Set the Stereo Enable Mode to "Enabled by Hot Key",
Adjust the Stereo Separation value to 25%,
And change the Stereo Type to "Horizontal Interleaved (VREX)".
No other item needs to be adjusted.

▲ Tip) For a more realistic 3D experience, please change the Stereo Separation value to 30% or greater.
7. Click on Advanced Stereo Properties menu under Stereo Properties.
8. Set the Hot Key Setup under Advanced Stereo Properties to the key of user's preference.
(※ Hot Key is the function that enables the 3D display. Pressing the Hot Key again during the game will
change the display into 2D)
9. Do not change any other items of the configuration, and click on Apply(A) on Control Panel,
Click on OK on Stereo Compatibility Settings window,
Press ESC or left click on the mouse on the test screen,
And Click on 'Yes(Y)' on the Stereo Test Result window.
10. Now install a compatible 3D game. Once the game is installed, press the Hot Key that was set in No. 8
to change the display to 3D. You're now ready to enjoy the game!
● Precautions ●
※ ForceWare Driver 91.31 supports up to Geforce 7950 GX2 only. Geforce 8000 Series are not yet
supported.
※ The 3D feature cannot be enabled with the most updated version of ForceWare.
※ Stereo Driver version and ForceWare version must be identical. (91.31)
※ Not all games can be viewed in 3D on this monitor. Please check the list of supported games.
※ If 3D setting is possible with the game, then set the 3D detail option to 'Low' or 'Medium'.
※ Game resolution must be set to the monitor's highest resolution to enjoy the 3D display, and various
Shader functions of the game must be switched off to view in 3D.
