Fringe Flicks is our long-running independent film series that has built a loyal audience by providing an
intelligent alternative to mainstream movies. Our award-winning films are screened on Sundays at 1, 4 & 7pm
and Mondays at 7pm at the Avalon Cinema in Woodgrove Centre.
Investing in this series will increase your community profile and publicize your business so you reach key
markets for pennies per screening. Fringe Flicks attracts over 6,000 people to its 40 screenings; with 90% of its
audiences aged 40-65, your company can directly market to this key demographic as a Fringe Flicks sponsor.
The arts play an important role in driving the economic and social vitality of our region. The City of Nanaimo
adopted a cultural plan stating the importance of the arts in building healthy communities, and you can be part
of that by supporting Fringe Flicks.
