About the Line
In the summer of 2010, first-time mom Kimberly Goodwin was ready for a day at the beach in Nantucket
with her three-month-old daughter, Reese. Having packed everything but the crib, Goodwin was prepared
for anything- until the baby needed changing. Only an hour into the day, Goodwin struggled to pull off
Reese’s wet suit, change her diaper, and put the suit back on, all while the infant wailed. She thought,
there has to be an easier way. Why don’t they make bathing suits with snaps? An idea turned into a mission and Snapping Turtle Kids was born.
Snapping Turtle Kids prides itself on designing swimwear and accessories to make your job as a parent a
smooth sail. Our collection features stainless steel snaps for swimsuits, and 100% cotton terry cloth for
beach cover ups and hats. Each collection was designed in New York City’s Garment District, and is
inspired by our favorite sea-side vacation spots.
Goodwin, no stranger to the fashion industry, is the former Promotion Director for Lucky magazine and
Associate Director of Fashion Merchandising for Vogue. With Snapping Turtle Kids, she uses her industry
background to create a brand that is as functional as well as fashionable.

Payment: All orders require payment before shipping. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and
certified checks. Please make all checks payable to Snapping Turtle Kids, Inc. A resale certificate is
required for all opening orders.
Shipping: We ship via USPS. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight once your order has been
placed.
If you have a specific delivery date that you require we will do our best to work with you. Resort orders
available to ship by 11/1/12. Spring/ Summer orders available to ship by 2/1/13.
Return Policy: We offer a 14 day return policy on damaged or defective items.
