I had no idea that just a short walk away, are marked hiking trails that take you over the rivers and through the woods. The sounds of bubbling brooks, water crashing down rocky streams, and beautiful fields of grass and trees. After an hour and half, we ended at the Lake Superior Zoo – what a great day! Our trip was in late October, but I’m sure this would be beautiful any time of year. I’m really excited to try this hike in May or June.
