History the Misfits
• Formalized in 2004 by Tim Braun and Chris Nesbitt.
• Named after skating announcer, Mitch Lake.
• President Bethlyn McCallum took over.
What We Do
• Attend homes games and create a loud and enjoyable atmosphere for our team and our fans
– Section L – Standing only!
• Provide opportunities to follow and cheer for our team on the road
– Annual NMU trip with 150 students (mostly freshmen)
– Any other series (Wisc, U of Mn, Duluth, North Dakota, etc)
