Our theme this year is “All of Us Are Greater Than Any of Us” based on the Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets’ motto “Through unity, strength.” I believe that we can accomplish more working together than we can as individuals. Membership and volunteering are so important! As we raise monies throughout the year from small events (Exclusive Rally House Shopping Nights & Kendra Gives Back), Boutique sales and the Spring Singing Cadets Concert, we fund the scholarships first then the remaining amount will be sent to eligible A&M student organizations. Each year, DCAM members vote on the distribution of those funds. Your membership dues and your volunteer time directly translates into donations. Last year, DCAM donated $10,000 to the student organizations. Let’s continue the momentum! We want to host social gatherings, too. Look for an “Aggie Moms Connecting” event every month and join us. If you have an event idea, email it to [email protected]. I look forward to seeing all of you at our first General Meeting on Thursday, September 17th. Thanks and Gig ‘em!
