Dear Wine Enthusiast,
We would like to express how grateful we are for your business and do
everything we can to make yours a joyous holiday season. Founded
in 1991 as the Ambrosia Wine Catalogue, our company has evolved

1-800-Flowers.com and restored our entrepreneurial spirit under our
umbrella brand, The Wine Tasting Network (WTN).
Our commitment to finding and delivering great wines has never been
stronger. Inside the pages of this catalog you will find extraordinary selections that represent the brands that contribute to our legacy. From
great values under $20 (pages 12-13) to Ambrosia library selections
(pages 8-9), wines have been selected and configured together to align
with the many ways wine can be enjoyed to enrich life. We invite you
to visit our website, www.winetasting.com to explore an expansive
selection of over 400 wines.
Our service has never been better. Located in Napa Valley at the
entrance to one of the greatest wine regions in the world, our wine
consultants are here to provide personalized service. So, rather than
speaking to someone in a remote call center, if you need assistance,
simply call our team and we will be able to assist you in getting the
right wine to the right place at the right time.
From our family to yours, we wish you a joyful holiday season. Thank
you for allowing us to enrich your lives through wine.

Hamilton Estates 2013 Napa Valley Merlot
Our neverending quest to bring you curated wines with exceptional priceto-value ratios leads us to hundreds of blind tastings and blending sessions
to ensure you get only the best. The Hamilton Merlot is exclusive to Winetasting.com and has been our #1 seller for over 20 years and has become a
name synonymous with quality and value.
The 2013 is a bright, radiant garnet color. Aromas of bright red cherries and
berries are supported by sweet spice and spring blossoms, mostly violets.
Red cherry, red plum, and red raspberry flavors precede baking spice and
cocoa. The acidity is fresh and lively, promising several years of pleasurable
drinking. Do yourself a favor now and get a case. Our customers always
come back for more! CAL970 $15.99/bottle
Mirabelle Brut Sparkling NV
Napa Connection was founded in 2011 with the purpose
of bringing seasonal wine collections and small lots at
extraordinary values to consumers everywhere. A quality
sparkling under $20 is a must-have, and for that we turn
to Schramsberg, Napa Valley’s premier sparkling wine
producer.
This young, bright bubbly, principally composed of Pinot Noir, exhibits
the crisp acidity and vibrant green apple characteristic of this grape when
grown in the North Coast. Pinot Noir adds body mid-palate and further
depth of fruit flavor. Generous aromas of vanilla waffle cone and spun sugar
are followed by rich apricot compote and ripe citrus. The palate is delicious
upon entry, with flavors of bright lemon and tropical mango. In addition
to the fruitful characters, the palate is layered with essences of honey and
toasted almonds. The wine’s viscous and coating nature gives way to
refreshing acidity on the finish. Bottoms up! SPK008 $24.99/bottle

Chappellet 2009 Pritchard Hill Napa Valley Cabernet
Our roots within Napa Valley run deep. Founded in 1991 as Ambrosia,
the Berglund Catalogue of Fine Wine®, Lesley Berglund established the
first Aged Cabernet program in the United States. The plan was simple.
Buy cellar-worthy Cabernet, cellar it for 10 years and re-release it.
What do the cult wines Bryant Family, Colgin, and Continuum all have in
common? They are all wines from Pritchard Hill. Not only was Chappellet the first to produce wines from this historic region in Napa Valley, but
they also trademarked the name “Pritchard Hill,” which is why you won’t
see it on any label. Over two years ago, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
gave this gorgeous wine 96 points and reviewed, “The wine possesses
stunning depth and concentration, with fabulous balance and tons of
personality. The only thing it needs is time. This dark, brooding Cabernet Sauvignon is a lot to look forward to.” No need to wait …

Domestic Reds
Our California Roots Run Deep.
Founded in Napa Valley in 1991, we can’t help but be partial to wines from America’s undisputed heartland. In 1945,
400 wineries existed in the United States. Now, there are over 10,000. We do a lot of tastings to ensure you get the best...
here are a few of our favorites.
Quillia 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet
Spell Wines 2010 Napa Valley “Hex” Red Blend
This gorgeous Napa Valley Cabernet was created
exclusively by the Wine Tasting Network. In fact, what’s
in the bottle is so top-secret (trust us, you would know
the winery) that we cannot reveal the source. What we
can tell you is that the 2006 Cabernet is a steal. Presenting
wonderful flavors of black plum, currants, and chocolate
enhanced by the soft tannins, this wine could and should
garner a price much higher.
NAP1060 $49.99 $24.99/bottle
“Wine to me is all about exploring new opportunities
and styles. With the group at Winetasting, I have found a
partner who believes in the same essential truths about
wine. We share the passion that is in the bottle!” Created
exclusively for the Wine Tasting Network by Kristen
Spelletich of Spelletich Wine Cellars, this enchanting Napa
Valley red blend is dark and seemingly ominous in color.
A proprietary blend known only to the winemaker, this
wine bursts with juicy red fruits, a hint of dark espresso
chocolate and sensuous body.
NAP1064 $49.99 $19.99/bottle
Mottington 2011 Napa Valley Merlot
Geerlings & Wade 2013 California Cabernet
Grown in the illustrious Napa Valley – the heart of
Northern California’s wine country – this Merlot is a
perfect example of premium California wine (at a
less-than-premium price). Medium bodied, light purple
and garnet, with an expressive bouquet of strawberries,
plums and cedar. On the palate, sweet spices and a hint of
herbs introduce confected plum, youthful acid and tight,
tea-like tannins that will soften as the wine ages.
Persistent flavors of red fruits, flowers, and oak
sweeten the tannins in the finish.
NAP1053 $29.99 $19.99/bottle
Clarim 2010 Rutherford Cabernet
Finding a Rutherford Cabernet for under $50 is
practically unheard of...until now. This world-class
winegrowing region is home to such superstars as Alpha
Omega, Caymus and Whitehall Lane. Cabernets produced
from this region have a dry, clean earthy note known as
“Rutherford dust” due to the unique soil mixture of gravel,
sand, loam, volcanic and transported sea-bed deposits.
Emphasis is on the structure that supports lush fruit and
mature tannins, a ‘feel’ that is as pleasurable as any flavor,
and is a hallmark of this AVA.

4 | Winetasting.com
This wine pays tribute to the Chateau relationships and
the history behind the Geerlings & Wade brand, known
for supplying great wine values from the best
winemakers in the world. The wine is young and
explosive with juicy bright cherry and plum notes.
The acids are quickly quenched by the fine, youthful
tannins that promise several years of ageability.

NEW Mira Luna 2013 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
It’s no secret that Oregon’s Willamette Valley wine region
known for world-class Pinot Noir. So, when we set out to
produce a Pinot Noir for our Mira Luna label, we knew exactly where to source the fruit. A reflection of this unique
terrior, this wine has lovely cranberry and earth nuances
backed by medium acidity making it an excellent wine to
pair with lamb, duck, game and stews.

Domestic Whites
When people think of California whites, Chardonnay reigns supreme. This winter, we offer a broader selection of up and
coming white varietals from California that match surprisingly well with the heartier fare of the season.
Mira Luna 2012 “Tough Day” Sonoma Chardonnay
This amazing Golden State Chardonnay is the perfect
elixir to cure any tough day. Unobstructed by oak, this
Chardonnay from Sonoma provides wonderful aromas
of peach, pear and melon, while a touch of Muscat adds
orange notes and a soft, fruity introduction. Rich, vibrant
and everything you’d expect from a Carneros
Chardonnay, California’s great Burgundian varietal area.
SON606 $21.99 $18.99/bottle
NEW Tierra y Mar Reserve White 2014 White Blend,
California
Produced from vineyards situated in prime growing areas
along the west coast of California, this unique blend of
Sauvignon Blanc (42%), Viognier (42%) and Pinot Gris
(16%) is a white-wine lover’s dream. Dominant fruit
flavors of fresh cut pineapple, apricot nectar, and
mandarin orange create a complex palate, while Viognier
lends a round mouth-feel and a long, creamy finish.

Robert Mondavi 2009 Moscato D’Oro (375 mL)
In Greek mythology, it is said this luxurious wine was
reserved solely for the gods ... and god-like it is. Crafted
solely from Muscat Canelli grapes grown in Napa Valley’s
Stags Leap District, the 2009 Moscato d’Oro is a study in
exotic floral aromas of pink jasmine and lemon blossoms
overlapping tropical notes of guava and lychee.
The palate’s plush, abundant stone fruit flavors are
complemented by shades of orange and spice and
cleansed by a refreshing, citrusy finish. Don’t shy away ...
this is a must-have for every table.

Casswall Estates 2011 Carneros Chardonnay
With cool breezes from the bay and an ability to produce
smooth and elegant wines, the Carneros wine region is
world-famous for producing cooler climate
varietals. A developing bouquet of citrus, lemongrass,
pear and mild tropical notes lead into granny smith apple
and oak. Now that this wine has aged slightly, it has softened revealing ripe fruit and creamy mouth-feel.

NEW Monticello 2014 Napa Valley Rosé
For over 45 years, Monticello Vineyards has been
producing world-class wines in Napa Valley. So, when we
discovered they created a Rose, we just had to get our
hands on it. Crafted in the Saignée Method’ from Syrah
grapes, the style is on the bolder end of the spectrum and
are best served slightly warmer than fridge temperatures
in a regular red wine glass. One of the most versatile food
pairing wines, it will pair well with pizza, chili, turkey,
salmon, chicken and any spicy, ethnic take-out dishes.
NAP940 $24.00/bottle
Mirabelle Brut Napa Valley Sparkling (NV)
We’ve been a fan of Schramberg’s Mirabelle Sparkling for
over 20 years and with good reason. The quality and
consistency is uncompromising. This young, bright
bubbly, principally composed of Pinot Noir, exhibits the
crisp acidity and vibrant, green apple characteristic of this
grape. Unlike vintage bottlings, Mirabelle gains unique
depth from the additions of lots aged in barrels and tanks
at the winery from prior vintages, resulting in a
significantly improved palate richness and aromatic
complexity. Get a case. You’ll want extra for Mimosas in

Every d a y Va lues
Whites under $20
Talk about one-stop shopping! We’ve gathered an
amazing selection of wines full on flavor and long on value.
Each makes a terrific choice for anytime enjoyment or,
when last minute guests drop by.
Louis Reffelingen 2008 Riesling, Alsace, France
When we began our search for a Riesling, inevitably
we ended up in Alsace. Smart shoppers flock to
Alsace for drier versions of food-friendly, affordable
Riesling. Not only has it become the hub for
sophisticated dining in northern France, it’s also
where wine lovers “in the know” shop for bargains.
Exhibiting delicate flavors of fresh, ripe peaches,
apricots, and melons, you’ll understand why
Alsatian Rieslings are the whites smart wine
drinkers prefer. 93 Points (Exceptional), Gold,
Cellar Selection, Best Buy, 2010 World Wine
Championships.
ALS123 $19.99/bottle
NEW Murale 2014 Pinot Grigio, Italy
Produced by winemaker Antonio Sperone, the
Sperone family has been making affordable,
premium wines for four generations and the proof
is in the bottle. Showing brilliant, intense strawyellow hues, this Pinot Grigio is complemented by
pink and white peach citrus fruit and herbal aromas
with some whispers of oak and mild spice. A good
balance of fruit and acidity create a fresh and
elegant wine.
ITA714 $12.99/bottle

NEW Tiki Sound 2014 Sauvignon Blanc,
Valle Central, Chile
NEW Confin 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, Chile
In 1947, the Kon Tiki made the incredible journey
from Peru, sailing across the Pacific Ocean to the
Polynesian Islands. Inspired by this epic pilgrimage,
we’ve worked to find the very best that Chile has
to offer and this is it. A fresh, pale gold color, with
a blend of aromas, reminiscent of ripe, tropical fruit
over underlying hints of apple and fennel.
This wine is silky on the palate with a good acidity
and prolonged finish. Light your tiki torch!
NZL012 $16.99/bottle
Confin revives the adventurous spirit of Chile’s
earliest settlers and their journey to the remotest
corners of the country. Guided by the ‘Compass
Rose’, they traveled over rough seas to places
unknown. Today, that spirit is reflected in the
winemakers search to find just the right terroir for
each variety. This fresh, Sauvignon Blanc seduces
with a broad range of aromas including white
peach, pineapple, and citrus. The palate is fresh
and nicely structured with a pleasing finish.
CHI152 $19.99/bottle
Hamilton Estates 2010 Chardonnay,
Napa Valley
NEW Huru 2014 Sauvignon Blanc,
New Zealand
When we set out to create an extraordinary
Chardonnay, we wanted it to stand out from all
the others. It also had to be extraordinary to carry
the same name as our #1 selling Hamilton Merlot.
This Napa Valley house gem pairs well with
appetizers, strong cheeses, pork, poultry or
seafood. It is rich and complex yet retains a fresh,
crisp mouth feel. You will not be disappointed!
CAL958 $14.99/bottle
From a sub-appellation of the famed Marlborough
region, Huru only selects the finest grapes for their
wines. There is an array of punchy aromatics
suggesting pink grapefruit, mango, passion fruit,
and lime blossom. On the palate, this wine has
concentrated citrus and tropical fruit flavors
followed by fresh mineral acidity.
NZL013 $14.99/bottle
Every d a y Va lues
Reds under $20
100 Percent 2012 Red Blend, California
San Valencia 2014 Pinot Noir, Chile
Dream Catcher 2013 Malbec, Argentina
Now here is a wine you can feel good about
drinking. Proceeds benefit local non-profits that
help people living with disabilities get jobs plus, it
tastes excellent too! A delicious red blend crafted
from estate California grapes in Lodi, this wine
boasts an intense dark purple color. Smoke, leather,
rich cherry and cola flavors stand out from the base
of ripe berry fruits that results in a bold and
distinctive blend with a velvety soft finish.
Stock up! After all, it’s for charity.
CAL972 $17.99/bottle
Hauntingly seductive and delicious, this Pinot
from Chile can be as lush as a strawberry, as intense
as red currant. The wine is more full-bodied than
its medium-ruby color suggests, making it an
excellent pair for rich dishes—salmon, duck, or
black truffle tagliatelle will envelop the finegrained tannins and acid that promise several
years in the bottle. Pinot lovers, rejoice!
CHI155 $15.99/bottle
Mendoza is the heart of Argentina’s wine industry
and that heart pumps the world’s finest Malbec all
around the globe. Produced with great care, this
big and bold Malbec is as ripe, rich, and round as
it could possibly be. Produced with great care, the
2013 offers classic blackberry and cassis aromas over
black cherry and fresh pomegranate flavors with just
a hint of smoke. A clean and elegantly structured
wine that over delivers for the price and rivals (dare
we say) Napa reds at half the price. ARG069 $15.99/bottle
Hamilton Estates 2013 Napa Valley Merlot
NEW Oleada 2014 Central Valley Cabernet,
Chile
Seachange 2012 Syrah, Argentina
For over 20 years, our #1 selling Hamilton Estates
Merlot has been winning the hearts of wine lovers
everywhere and become a name synonymous with
quality and value. The 2013 Hamilton Merlot is a
bright radiant garnet color. Aromas of bright red
cherries and berries are supported by sweet spice
and spring blossoms, mostly violets. Red cherry,
red plum, and red raspberry flavors precede baking
spice and cocoa. The acidity is fresh and lively,
promising several years of pleasurable drinking.
CAL970 $19.99 $14.99/bottle
We are always searching Chile for great new
finds, and when we tried Oleada Cabernet
Sauvignon from this unique region, we knew we
found a winner. This wine has a firm presence.
Fragrant aromas are profound, with intense
amounts of blackcurrant, a staple in a solid
Cabernet. The flavor profile is round with
blackcurrant, cassis, cocoa, and oak. Its tannin
structure is firm and the finish is long and elegant.
CHI158 $14.99/bottle
Dark garnet in the glass, this wine smells of smoke
and black cherry. In the mouth the wine has a
wonderful combination of toasted cassis, berry
flavors mixed with a light woodiness. Clean
aromas, pure flavors, an engaging mouthfeel
and a long, lingering, “pour me more!” finish.
Good acidity; can cellar for years. ARG060 $19.99/bottle
